Just been to pick up Tom Clancy's The Division from Smyths and saw they are doing a deal where you can get it for £9.99 on either Xbox One or PS4 when trading in a selected game. They said it was national.

The confirmed list with Smyths is -

Far Cry Primal - PS4/Xbox One
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 - PS4/Xbox One
Star Wars Battlefront - PS4/Xbox One
Fallout 4 - PS4/Xbox One
Grand Theft Auto V - PS4/Xbox One
Uncharted Collection - PS4
Just Cause 3 - PS4/Xbox One
Rise of the Tomb Raider - Xbox One
Super Mario Maker - Wii U

I had both Tomb Raider and Black Ops 3 waiting to go on eBay and would have got around £15 each after fees (Cex offer £13 for Tomb Raider, £15 for Black Ops 3) so means I've got the game for around £25.

Should work out well for some if you've got the games there and don't want them anymore like me. You can pick up Tomb Raider around £19.99 new otherwise so still works out at under £30, which seems good.

With the full list I'm sure there are good deals available on Fallout 4, Battlefront and Uncharted also that could make this a good deal.

It was £41.99 in store otherwise.

Right, have just been on the phone to Smyths and confirmed your list of games actually is correct :laughing: Some of them weren't on the sign that I saw but Fallout 4 is included!

Also confirmed that it is definitely only one game so makes the deal even hotter I believe!

I'm going to trade in black ops 3 or fallout which I haven't played for a while. Just a question though, is it a good game? I've only seen clips and trailers which look ok but anyone played it and recommends it?

I'm a bit unsure at the moment, have only played a couple of hours.. The setting and enemies seem bland (Streets, buildings, roof tops so far). I've also found the enemies overly bullet spongy but have played all missions on Hard on multiplayer so this might be the reason.

Was told it was like a massively online Mass Effect for gameplay which it doesn't seem so far. Similar cover shooter RPG but gameplay not as sharp and not as varied (Again this is only after a few hours!)

Uncharted and GTA V can be bought for around £15 on Ebay if you're lucky, making The Division £25, for a game that released just the other day, that's a bargain! I bought it on release date and I've been playing it all day, much better with friends mind you, solo can get a bit dull but it's still fun and plenty of ways to make friends (and enemies) in game.

How good is the game? I've not seen many full reviews out for the game as of yet. Keep hearing it being repetitive and the bosses taking too many bullets to defeat. Any one on here have any experience playing the finished game?

Don't trust anyone who says its good. Whenever someone gets a brand new game hype and buyers remorse plays heavily on their opinion. Either watch streams or wait until the hype dies down so people aren't blinded from hype. Or you could have played the beta which i thought was awful as it was seriously boring and repetitive and i've heard the missions are the same thing over and over.

H8 the game. After getting nearly whole way thru a mission and get killed, have to start from beginning of mission again, and with less grenades. Oh; and who can shoot back if they are being hit with bullets, yeh, no human ever could, but the bad guys seem to be able to shoot back even if they are being hammered by 1000mph projectiles.

Buyers remorse or not, if you're only paying £9.99 you're not going to be that bothered are you.
I purchased Fall Out 4 for £28 before christmas full of anticipation and both me and my mate feel it's mind numbingly boring. My main beef with it is that it's 1 player online, there is zero online element, zero interaction.

Now I appreciate there's 1 player elements to The Division but there's online too.

Even 10 quid is too much for a game that will have its multiplayer die out in a matter of weeks. This will be like Titanfall once the hype is gone people finally realise they have been taken for mugs and leave in droves. I actually value my time and money and even 10 quid isn't worth it as so many better games out there.

Just rang Derby and Nottingham, both sold out of PS4 versions.
Derby said their next delivery is Wednesday and they trade in offer ends Monday, adding "which is really frustrating for us".
Oh well, I'll tell myself I wasn't that interested in the game anyway :wink:

Great deal. I had a spare sealed copy of Fallout 4 from a bundle I had bought lying around. So it effectively gave me a £30 credit towards The Division as I'd conveniently written it off.

Picked up The Division today in Slough, had to ask as there was no sign of the offer on display. Not to worry anyone but the guy at the till seemed to hint that the offer ends tomorrow.

managed to get a copy today from oldbury branch.
traded in tomb raider (from Argos opposite) but had a tough time getting them to accept it.
guy behind the till said no, we've got to many tomb raiders, and then produced a sheet with all the titles crossed out except black ops 3.after i pointed out the sheet on the games stand with nothing crossed out and the manager came over, he gave it to me.

My friend and I went through with the trade in deal and chose an Xbox One version of the game. We're going to head in on Tuesday and return the Xbone version for the PS4 version. Im not sure when the deal expires but maybe you could do that too? We went to Cardiff also.

I should have thought of that when my local ran out of the PS4 copy and I looked at the numerous XB1 copies on the shelf!!!

The XB1 version is the same price as the PS4 one, so as long as you don't open it and have the receipt you can exchange or refund it within 28 days.

I'm going to trade mine in today - hopefully the deal is still valid (ends on 14th)
