I dont use my debit card for anything other than drawing cash out
Much more protection using a credit card
think about it
Fraud on your debit card and its your money.. will the bank be too interested in recouping it?
Fraud on a credit card.. its the banks money.. they'll be much more keen to recoup it
Want a new TV for £500... why spend £500 in one lump.

Thanks OP. Just signed up and got accepted with just over £5000 credit limit, which is a lot more than I asked for. This will now save me £35 a month interest for the next 21 months!!

does the interest free for 21 months start when account is opening or the money is transfered?

I applied and was pleasantly surprised to get £2.5k for 21 months 0% and 0% fee. I'm not a home owner or anything (private rent) and my job is >£20k a year. So I think the threshold for this isn't that high but I know other factors exist.
Anyway, anyone complete the application and not receive an email? I haven't but at the time (yesterday) I didn't have the credit card with me that I wanted to transfer away from so I completed the application and thought would go back today but no email has come and I didn't write any of the references down to call them. Going via the login my username isn't my email address and the "forgot username" link needs the credit card number which I haven't got yet. I will wait it out and assume something will come eventually but just wondering if not getting a email confirmation is common practice or if I put in the wrong email (fairly sure I didn't).
Voted hot btw - bargain for no fee. Basically free borrowing until December 2018.

Completely agree with all this! I use my CC for anything over £50 and then pay it off in full each month. Costs me nothing, but I get extra protection and rewards points which give me money off.

Tesco won't approve your application if you had changed the address in the last 12 months. This is what happened to me when I applied last time.

Having debt on a 0% credit card is certainly not a bad thing. For example, putting £2,000 on a 0% card for some house improvements or a holiday, and knowing you can pay it off £100 a month at ease. It's a much cheaper alternative to getting a small loan.

A good deal if you use the 0% to pay of all your credit card debt and never go back into debt again other than your mortgage.

Thanks for posting, just to sense check a couple of things....
1. Any limit on the amount you can transfer? Is it just dictated by the credit limit Tesco give you? If so, and this is below the balance you have on a card, can you transfer a partial amount?
2. Might be checking the obvious, but once your balance is transferred you should be good just making the minimum payment each month for the first 21 months without incurring any additional charges?
Thanks in advance.

1. 95% of credit limit
2. You have to make minimum payments like any credit card

How do you get the 1000 clubcard points? I went through Topcashback and put my clubcard number in during the application but I never seen an offer for 1000 clubcard points.
Even without them its still a hot deal, cheers op
EDIT:
I see there is an offer for 1000 points on a purchase card if you make a balance transfer or purchase within first 2 months but I dont think that applies to this card.
Just got mine 0% for 38 months in balance transfers...

dmaster2000 to karene28
15 Mar 16#15
there are others 38 months or even 40month 0% interest but they charge a fee usually about 3% to transfer the balance onto them so for every £1000 this would be £30 fee based on 3%. With the deal you can save hundreds as there is no fee

Just did this myself but they only offered less than half the credit limit of my previous card and my salary has gone up significantly since I applied for the previous card. Oh well.. just paid the difference and I got less to worry about now... 21 months to pay off easily.
