This has gone up to £109 on Tesco website but still £60 from third party reseller on Amazon. It seems the output rate of steam is good but that the size of the water tank is about half the size of most steam generator irons. Also the lack of seeing how much water is left is a negative is as well.
Any thoughts from anyone who has tried theirs out? Worth getting at £60? thanks

Thanks; just bought.
we only buy Tefal irons and have a perfectly good one (Pd catalytic base, no less) but, as my flatmate Tommy Lamb used to say (about bleach), "you can never have enough".
To be honest, it got to the stage where we had 4 perfectly functional Tefal irons in a cupboard. Now it will just be 2.
Paid with vouchers, so it only cost 50p in reality.
It's just dropped in price by £5.62 (to £50.63) at Amazon.
Btw, there are some extreme ironing shots in this thread.

I bought this Iron for £50 over xmas and it's a really good iron but it runs out of water pretty quickly which can't be refilled till its cooled down. I get through about 8-10 shirts before it runs out.

Probably stronger steam hit -> easier ironing. If you are happy with your iron and don't want any upgrades, don't buy it.

Used to buy Tefal steam generators all the time, they would last about 14 months and then clog up with scale so bad they were useless, but the price kept us going back This was with keeping up with changing the descale filter every couple of months, admittedly we do live in a hard water area. These are next to impossible to descale properly, all you end up with is scale marks all over your clothes, even after running several tanks of water through it after descaling.
Ended up with a Swan, little more money but its still going strong after 18 months so fingers crossed.
One tip, if the sole plate stops gliding as it should, after about three months use, mer car polish applied when its cold puts the glide back.

great price but not continuous fill so you have to wait for it to cool down before you can refill it if you need to do more ironing. mines a 1 litre and I end up refilling so this wouldn't do me at all.
