Went to Poundland Winchester today I found Tassimo Oreo pods for £1. They had 5 packs left but they said there is more of them coming tomorrow.

Aww so I take it these are being discontinued. Shame. I love these, but as they're aimed at kids you need two to make a full drink for an adult.

my children see the TV advert for the tassimo with the oreos, went out and purchased one from curry's £37.99, anyway they both hate the oreo but love the Cadburys hot chocolate

I always run my drinks through 2x to get more. Don't know if you've tried it.

That works for the coffee and powder ones, these are liquid and would just leave it watered down. I'll be checking my local one out as I love these. I can then cancel my Amazon deal!

How do you run your drinks through twice?

Doesn't work with most things, you just end up with watery undrinkable coffee/chocolate. I've heard if you warm the Oreo pods in warm water first you get a bit more out of it. These are delicious, but you get so little out of them you always have to use 2, so I haven't bought them in a while.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I feared as much but American Grande hasn't got half the body and taste of medium roast in my opinion.

Anyone got any tips on descaling the machine? Currently got the light flashing. Gone through the leaflet detailing how to do it numerous times however it doesn't want to go. Thanks.

You need to buy descaling tablets. Pop one in the water, put in the service disk and hold the 'start' button for about 3 seconds. Make sure you have a large cup! You need to repeat this a couple of times, then I always rinse my water container out thoroughly.

I got 6 descaling tablets on Amazon for £1 delivered. Put one in the water reservoir and run the descaling program. Mine in press and hold the button for 5 seconds

I love Oreo's but these drinks are vile so was disappointed.
Tip is to warm the chocolate pod in warm water before using as it ensures that the chocolate "solution"? all comes out and maximises the strength of the drink.
