May be worth checking Ebay for genuine dealer ones that will last, depending on the car they can actually be quite reasonable. I've always had genuine ones with my cars, although I've never paid for them. Current set in one of the cars is 5 1/2 years old and still look almost new.
All depends how long you're keeping the car, if it's an old banger then these will do the job.

Heat added as these are good quality car mats as mine has shown me over the last year...easy to clean...good fit...makes my interior look better...protects carpets of my 22 year old Astra...all good.

Unless main dealer ones are hole proof for the driver's side? I reckon these will be OK as I'd be prepared to throw the old ones away and get new set.

Great find, they look so much better quality. With a heel pad too, you'll get many years out of them.

Good quality and excellent value.

You can see the heel pad on the Ebay listing. Buy cheap, buy twice or possibly more going by the previous comments.

These on the deal have heel pads anyway. They just don't have the copyrighted word focus on them.
oddballjamie
27 Mar 16#13
Why are so many people saying they don't last? If my mats lasted only a year I certaintly wouldn't be bying them again. There're just cheap crap, you really do get what you pay for with them.
biggysilly
27 Mar 16#14
Oh dear Hung over? Nobody is picking on you. Chill out the spell check can't keep up with you. They don't seem like cheap crap to me but if you know better, I will take your opinion onboard.
As I said in the OP my last set have lasted 2 years or 40k which outlasted the tyres. It's a lease car and goes back next Feb so these suit me for under £12.
Now calm down Jamie I value your comments but sometimes you go off on one and end up on my ignored list for a bit, it has been a couple of years since so keep it kind.

27 Mar 16#15
As I said it all depends on how long you're keeping the car. I keep my cars for a good few years so tend to buy better quality components and accessories.
If I leased cars then I have the same opinion as you, whatever keeps the carpet clean will do.

My genuine Nissan OEM car mats caused the accelerator pedal to stick at 60 mph I had to reach down and grab the mat and throw it to one side.
It was very unpleasant and without quick thinking (I'm meaning if it happened to a less experienced driver) it could easily have resulted in a nasty accident.
I actually don't drive now with a mat due to this in my Nissan Murano.
I doubt whether I will have a driver mat in my next car if I ever get one.

Poor quality, hole worn in drivers side in six months ( My car has done 12000 miles in 3 years).
Ironically they sent me two sets last time I ordered, when I informed them of their error they merely debited my account again for the second set.
I won't be buying from them again EVER.

Stupid website! Tried ages to pay but it won't let me! I give up, couldn't care less now! Have a rubbish website and make the buying experience tedious and annoying is seriously just an easy way to lose customers.

Take some effort in half a day. I bought a roll of clear thick carpet protector (is it vinyl or some poly thing?, heavy duty as used for years in hallway and entrances) and cut them to custom sizes and punched eyelets and tied them to whatever inside the car on top of the original carpets. Now very easy to wipe clean any wet shoes and mud, just wipe with a damp cloth and some detergent , uses no electricity, plastic has no rot smell unlike damp carpet. Cost more money than this posted product, half a day more DIY effort, had to metal crimp the punched eyelets, looks less tidy with the string ties, but compensated by cleaniless and easy to clean surface.
But this is a really good deal to put on original carpets for £12, less than price of a pizza or a KFC bucket.

These have been on HUKD a few times. I took up the offer about a year ago and it took over
a month for them to turn up. This company couldn't cope when they got loads of orders. If I remember correctly the owner even put up a post on here, having a bit of a rant, saying that the code wasn't supposed to be widely distributed and that they didn't appreciate the extra work!
Carpets are alright, I'd say you get what you pay for. The fixing mounts on mine have started to come loose and they curl up at the edges.

There is nothing genuine about them mats. It's like the typical GENUINE IPHONE 6 cables you get. I get my mats from Crillys.co.uk. I get the New Delhi range it has a thick heal pad so the wife heals don't put a hole through them or my heal on a weekend ; ) Good guys to deal with and a reasonable price. I have had mine for two years now and are still great

Price is a cheap for a reason.
These mats are very poor quality. At first they do appear to be decent but when used for a month or so they break down badly and slide forward easily.
