Still £25 more than this shambles is worth.

Started off well before it descended into a fanboy rage rant.
Mortal Kombat may not be as technical as Street Fighter but it's certainly a game that requires skill. Just try button mashing your way to victory against a good player and watch yourself get owned.
And Tekken a POS game? Spoken like a true SF fantard.

No point buying this until the summer, at least then there might be some actual content to go with it.

At the end of the day SF is the best fighting game and for most fans online gaming vs humans is the only mode worth playing. Lack of single player mode or not the game has the main mode done right.
MK XL might be a better value proposition especially with its array of single player modes but as a game it is not even on the same level mechanics wise.
As for Tekken, lets forget I even mentioned that POS of a game.
SF is the first fighting game most should own in my opinion, but there is no harm waiting for a price drop.
I will bite at sub £20.

This game is not worth the money.
Broken. Unfinished.
Fighter Profile shows incorrect details. Lv 0 and last played 7th Jun 1906 (wasn't even born then).
No arcade mode or any other great modes from previous Street Fighter series.
Matcmaking for ranked matches slow, laggy.
Battle lounge constant disconnections.
I can get my PS1 out and enjoy Street Fighter Alpha 3 that has more features packed in.

I bought this early because I wanted to keep up with the competition online. I know I could wait and get it cheaper but realistically, by the time that happens, you end up being left behind.
Can't say I'm loving this as the SF4 series but it's a solid start. More characters and modes to follow. I've only been playing it casually online but seem to have got enough in-game points to buy 2 of the DLC characters that are upcoming.
Yes, you can buy the season pass for this but you really don't need to as you can earn all the points you need to unlock everything.

Except outside of the initial bonus in single player, it takes a crazy amount of time to grind out the in-game currency to unlock them all

Love SF and Tekken. Never really felt Mortal Kombat. But to call Tekken button bashing is wrong. Its like any a skilled player will always overcome that. I like the fact some you can button bash as the barrier to entry for regular players isn't bad when you have a party together but still the skilled players will own.

I've already put a huge amount of time into this and I'll say it outright: release was a mess, Capcom messed up and even online is having a huge problem with people quitting mid match and Capcom's asking the community to bring these people to light, when they should be able to simply check peoples disconnection ratio.
Right now the game isn't worth getting and it appears to be doing poorly in sales (rightfully so, for a rushed and unfinished game) I expect the price will continue to drop.
Whilst the entire sales figures aren't out yet, so far it has approximately 128,000 people on steam with the game, 40,000 for Japan on PS4. It peaked at number 2 on release for UK sales and is already down to number 10 on the second week of release. Capcom's expecting to sell 2 million copies, but I can't see it happening.

Haha you must be a fanboy given your rage.....
Tekken, Dead or Alive, Virtual Fighter = button mashing. Yes you still need to learn skills to get to top level but it is boring button mashing with no stick input.
Give me Street Fighter, Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Darkstalkers, Killer Instinct or Mortal Kombat any day in that order.
Don't know why people are hating on this game lol. It's just prelaunched thats all... All the features are still coming in the near future.

If they are anything like me then it's because some people want to buy a completed game not one essentially released before it is finished.

I love the game. I have been playing SD competitively for years.
I only ever play vs a human or training mode to try out setups and combos.
It doesn't bother me too much.
I will play 1p to accumulate fight money.

Or you can wait, buy it cheaper and just buy the season pass to unlock everything. Probably quicker this way judging how fast this game is dropping.

If you like fighting online and going to pick this up sooner or later, then you probably shouldn't wait as you wanna build up your points. Which can be spent in game later on

After they boycotted the xb1 and decided to make this game a doc shambles, glad it flopped.
