Does anybody know if any of these are ready to eat at around July? Only asking as I would like to get some but we usually go away in August and when we get back they are usually on the way out due to not being watered.

All I know is elsanta are quite sturdy and firm variety but don't always taste as nice as others.

You could just buy a pack of strawberries keep a few aside and plant them yourself. Litterally halve them, plant them and water them. Job done.
