Price of this item is always up and down; but as its nearly Easter and the price is currently 'down' to the lowest it generally goes I thought it worth posting.

I bought the mrs one of these for her face painting stuff for kids parties. Definitely not tradesman quality so not cut out for back of the van daily use, but definitely OK for DIY and other lighter uses like hobbies etc

Bought one of these as few weeks back and it's a decent size to throw things in. As other commenter have said, if you don't have heavy stuff in the bottom section it easily topples over...

This must be one of the HUKD mysteries how this constantly gets voted hot. There have been so many comments on the poor quality of it. I would personally not spend £20 on it again as it became 'stationary' within few months after the hinges broke apart. If that's what you expect from 'mobile' workshop then go ahead

Comes with a 12 month guarantee, you should have sent it back!

Had one of these for a few months. As states; it's good for home use but not much else. I also find it to be slightly "top-heavy" and when the top is open it regularly tips over backwards, unless I've got some very heavy items in the bottom. I'd say it's worth the £20 just to keep everything in once place.

Just bought one of these. At the price it's worth a punt but I don't think it's worth any more than £20. Mine will be for light home use and I wouldn't recommend anything more than that as it's pretty light and flimsy and won't last forever, but again, it's £20 so you get what you pay for.

These make great field box's for RC hobbyists.
I have a decent sized lead acid battery in the bottom section with banana plug sockets built into the front of the plastic so I can charge planes, cars & quad battery's while out in the field with ease.
I made a few adjustments best example would be: I added a hinge on the left and right side of the top tray so once opened it wont fall backwards due to the weight.
The little brackets/clips will break as they are weak so I added wire instead. Looks a little like the below image.

Had one of these for years. It is OK for light use, but make sure you have some heavy items in the bottom as it's not a fan of staying upright

Judging by the comments the only use for this is using it to transport your plastic doll collection. Is this true?

We have this. It's OK for light home use. It's certainly not heavy duty. You can get two angle grinders in the lower base unit, plus a few bits and pieces - this is without their boxes. Not sure you would get some thing like a power drill in it's case in the base unit.

The tool box is ok . But it won't stand up to heavy site use . If you look at Stanley range of boxes , what I mean is trolley tool boxes , they range up to £150 and the high end are top quality as I own one . But I give this some heat .

Can you get much in it, for instance how many power tools in their own boxes could you squeeze into it?
