I bought this when it was £107 ... It's now down to £89.99
Great bit of kit with latest upgrade.
I also use it as standalone running gps watch (with ghost runner app ) uploading results to Strava.
Get 2 days battery life with gps turned off.

Been using since November with Z3c and think it's fantastic. Downloaded Wear Messenger and it works beautifully. Do your research and know exactly what these devices can and can't do and you'll have an excellent extension to your phone.

Was this price with very after xmas. Standard price for this. For what it's worth i returned mine after a day as it's mince. Gps is fine but with a z3 the battery drain was shocking and the texr message app is crap.

I nearly did return mine until the 2nd Android Wear update. Now I am glad I kept it, the new look and feel is much more modern and better looking. Google have done a good job with developing WEAR. The watch is brilliant. I get 2 days out of a full charge and my Z1 now has Bluetooth on all the time so drains the battery a bit quicker rather than 2 days I used to get. The update also turned on Wi-Fi on the watch. Overall it's a great Smart Watch and at this prince it's a great buy. The STEPS app is not very accurate though. But that'll get an update soon enough. I got this at the start of December at this price from the O2 shop.

Actually, still this price at VERY (and, possible to get a discount code for new accounts; say 20% or possibly £20). But Very charge P&P and their customer service isn't as good as Amazon. You pays your money, and you takes your choice...

Not long got mine with a z5c, love it. Need to be careful with some faces as they just drain battery, but there's so many to choose from. Thanks for the tip about wear messenger
oh - and if anyone is still interested about this you can still get it at currys at £99.99 with a spare strap included, either use both or sell on ebay, you can get about £20
PLUS - if you buy from currys and you don't like it you can take it into any store and return it.

I agree. Do your research first. I am on my third Xperia phone. Z5 premium. Have the metal smartwatch 3, and it works absolutely brilliantly. Recommend.

Hi all i never normally post more of a lurker as i see to many peeps get shot down so here goes.
The watch in my opinion is a great bit of kit especially as other have said after upgrade. I use it for running, walking, making calls with Bluetooth headset and answering them and also Google search Touchone keyboard in beta at minute and it allows you to send and receive via a mini keyboard on your watch its cool tbh.
I love it, it just takes a bit of getting used to.

As it communicates with the Bluetooth to the phone will I be able to listen to music on my Bluetooth headphones/have it connect to my cars Bluetooth while it still being connected with the watch?
I cant remember if newer Bluetooth's allow multiple connections or not.
I have a Z5.

I love mine, but the battery drain bug is very frustrating.
For whatever reason, whenever my watch goes out of range of the phone, it switches to high power bluetooth and runs itself flat within an hour or two.

I have this watch, and have done for a while. Whilst it's useful as an Android Wear watch, it's really not that great as a standalone GPS watch.
I have been using GhostRacer since the early beta, and whilst the dev is great, the hardware lets it down.
It has issues with sweat ruining the GPS signal, and random reboots when using in stand alone mode. I'm not the only person with these issues, they're known faults.

I only use this for running using the Strava app which is really good. I wish the Spotify app had more features though, it's very basic!
When using your phone as a GPS, it also tells you your turns etc... Which is a nice little feature too!

Have one of there. It's a great piece of kit. I use Android Music which you can download to this watch and playback offline over Bluetooth so you don't need to carry a phone while exercising. GPS is good too, its only a little off Garmin forerunner. Can't sync with Strava though.

I loved this device, though i had zero success with it and Endomondo as a standalone device.
However, while out cycling the strap came loose - once loose it slips off itself and stops being circular (hard to explain). The next traffic light I arrived at - gone. I retraced my steps and was unable to find it.
It lasted me 3 months, with a couple of near misses of this sort. So factor that into the cost.

It was so utterly disheartening to be running away from your house and notice it's not getting a lock. And then never bothers for the next wide open spaces canal run for about 10k. I think it is something to do with it relying on a phone if there is one, but I never managed a log a run before it abandoned me.
