This adapter will convert a Euro Schuko 2 pin continental plug including those that have an earth requirement to a UK three pin plug.
I've bought a few of these for appliances bought from outside of the UK and hold the original plug securely. They come with a 13 amp fuse that can be replaced with a fuse relevant to the appliance.

Your links are for a different plug. Yours are for the flat 2pin plugs, whereas the OP has posted a converter for the round 3pin one (with an earth).

Sorry guys, I missed the +vat, changed the price to reflect this. Just to note this converts continental plugs that require an earth, and ensures you can use the correct fuse for UK wiring, using an appliance without a fuse could actually be illegal I think and might invalidate house insurance.
That's looks a different adapter for a flat continental/shaver type plug, this one is for a round plug that might require an earth, plus it looks like that one doesn't have a fuse either?

You put your own fuse in them (I have one in an EU Curl Secret - in this instance, it's a 13 amp fuse).
The one I've linked to fits like this
Shaver adaptors are only for 1 amp shavers/toothbrushes, no use for higher powered items.

But thats a different type of adapter with no earth and does not take the round continental plug
I'd agree with comment above, if using here permanently just cut off and fit a proper UK plug (unless cutting plug invalidates warranty which sometimes gets used as an excuse)

Cutting the plug top off can void the warranty in certain cases. For £2.23 it may be worth it for others.

Absolute Rubbish !!

If it's hardwired into the appliance you'll no doubt void the warranty!

LOL....where are you getting that rubbish from ?
Shop Warranties are a crock ......YOU are covered by the 'UK Consumer Right Act' only.......which says nothing about changing a plug !!

2-pin continental and UK shaver plugs are different.

I know this because I listed links to them in an older thread

This adapter takes this type of continental type plug described here:
