Do u know expiry of Discount Code? Free Delivery?
Appreciate some information like read and write speed, delivery... etc
yes I know maybe able to go in the deal site to find out but as far as I am aware, posting on HotUKDeals also gives spaces for providing details so others can see it here first. it's time consuming to check these.
thank you

I've got one of these and it heats up like crazy.. Don't know if it's just mine :/

They are small, fast and get hot. There's nowhere for the heat to dissipate as they sit fairly flush.
I still quite like them but it does bother me when it's roasting hot plugged into a device on stand-by/sleep.

Overheat and melt USB ports.
Avoid.

That's interesting because I've been using mine for the last 12 months permanently plugged in without any problems.

These seem to come up quite a lot. I have two, and one I pull in and out of computers maybe 5-10 times a day. That one broke quite quickly (the plastic end came off). They're nice little things, and perhaps I was unlucky, but there isn't a lot of plastic holding it together. I'd suggest you want something more durable if you're going to be putting it in and out regularly.

I have one and it gets hot, I am not worried in the slightest about it frying my USB port or starting a fire. Scaremongering! These things are tiny so the heat can't disperse like on the bigger longer ones. They are good stick my main concern was the chance of losing the USB stick as it is so small. Heat added, to the deal not the stick!

When you own 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB flash drives, 32 GB Ultra Fit, and 64 GB Ultra Fit; it might be good to skip one.

pfff, I beg to differ... 2 secs. by the time u press the the get deal button to go to (1...2..) I'm sorry now u need to start reading... 2 seconds my ars . n by de way I did say that my self that yes details can be found by going to get deal button however you felt the need to what tell me what I know. maybe you like things to get repeated that means told twice so that you get it so here I am again repeating. there is a section on HotUKDeals when posting which says description, normally everyone who post deals submit this as courtesy and common sense. having all details present on this post helps people decide and have healthy post and browse through quick. I hope u get it...2 seconds... 1,2. it's about time your finger starts to end pressing button foooool...lol  so serious.

I'm with Shax1 on this. When posting a deal in the 'Details' section it says the following.
In this case the poster hasn't even been so lazy as to only post the marketing text or specs.

It says what it is, what the price is, and what the discount code is. Not sure what else is required that it's unreasonable to expect people to click for, in your beard hat deal you neglected to say what colours were available for example.

tbh the time it's taken you to write the first post, visit the link and reply to the second. You could've posted the details yourself saving us all the bother which was your initial intention.
It's like if someone had fallen in the road and you stand next to them chastising another passer-by for not helping them to their feet. Moaning is only justified imo if you then do the legwork that someone else should have.

I've had this plugged into my car for a number of months and now I'm getting issues with the USB port for any device, my gut feeling is this usb has done something nasty in the port...

Because you're using a USB2 port and getting 1/10th speed.
Plug in to a blue USB3 port, start some heavy file transfers and retire to a safe distance.

LOL. It's always been in a USB3.0 port. Yes, it gets hot when doing alot of read/writes but it doesn't melt the USB port.

Might wanna check the amazon reviews for both this, and the 32, 64GB models. Ruined USB ports with melted internals, solder joints dislodged, finger burns, toxic fumes, data corruption, etc.
Why do you think they are being flogged off on the cheap?!?
that should get you going.
If data loss isn't a major issue and you're just using it to move files from one device to another, then go for it and manually monitor the temp with your fingers.

It's only people who complain who shout the loudest. Doesn't mean it's representative. You've clearly got a faulty one or a fake.
Like I said earlier, I've used it continuously for the last year without a problem either with the device itself or the USB port.

I've had the 64GB for over a year. Temp. is like holding a cup of coffee.
It will get hot for the size. I've used it on pcs, blueray players and my monitor. Never had a problem with it.
I suppose the only downside is that it is easy to lose and I've searched the house over. Just don't leave it on anything that is black.

since u feel that way as you have replied then by all means get on with it and take your own advice... that's just so retarded and was coming a mile away...
