Comes with the Richer Sounds 6-year warranty, which makes this a great deal. In-store only, but can be ordered over the phone for store collection.
Can see it slighter cheaper on a couple of other sites, but the warranty clinches it for me.

as a monitor must be great, faster responses vs the expensive crap from the competitor and also it does support 4-4-4 chroma @4k 60hz. A better choice, if not that much more expensive would be the JU7500 but worth to pay up to another few 100's extra. I believe it was given the HDR status after the most recent firmware upgrades

Is there any chance to find that tv (JU7500) with a black surrounding instead of Silver ?

Yor quality of life had to be very poor if TV improved it
My wife is curved where she needs to be and I don't need a TV be curved too.

The curved screen serves no purpose whatsoever . It doesn't enhance the viewing experience at all. Viewing angles can be poor on these TVs. Moving off centre can cause dramatic degradation of image quality. These TVs are for people who want to show off and think People actually care. Maybe they do on the new red brick estates, but for real quality go for flat screen and avoid the curve. For gaming then avoid the curve

Owning a Curved TV has improved my quality of life, given the Earth is curved it makes absolute sense to have a curved TV screen. You old flat earthers just don't get it.

I read an expert review a while back that basically said to get the full benefit of curved TV you need to have a screen of at least 65-70 inches...

Curved screens are just a gimmick. 20yrs ago I had Sony trinitron like this
which was curved too, but other way round and that was a feature then too.

Any views on which is better between the samsung and the LG below? No real gaming use, just to watch tv, dvd, sport
Thanks eslick. was really tempted to get the 6800 but will read up some reviews.

I'd check the motion blur before you buy. Even in sport mode it's not perfect. And sport mode foesnt work if the source is streaming.

Acording to Rtings it's has very low input lag in game mode and is decent when it comes to motion blur. It also supports 4:4:4 chroma, which is good for text, in PC mode. However their review suggests that it doesn't support WCG and while HDR support has supposedly been added the degree of that support might be minimal. A TV that does what you want is around £1k

Great all round tv, personally have the 55 inch model and it's great for gaming . I've copied a link to tv ratings for input lag for anyone interested.
does anyone know how this compares with the 6800 model, apart from being curved?

I think the main difference is the speakers size from what I remember. However the 6800 seems to be plagued with poor quality screens, have a google put us right off, in laws have this in a smaller size and it's really good TV. Been tempted with going for a higher up model but thinking of just keeping an eye out for this to see if it falls any more.
