Is the TV curved or flat screen? 900 PQI is quite low and no chance of HDR either.
Lot of money for a semi-retired set.

Good price I just got this TV a few weeks ago from richer sounds for the same price but it was ex display. Only problem is you need to keep turning the motion stabiliser off as ironically it causes the skipping that it's supposed to prevent. The up scaling on 1080 HD is very good it looks far better than my last 1080 HD TV.

I'll stick to Samsung but when I had a problem a week out of warranty they weren't bothered. I bought it from Currys so contacted them and they repaired it free of charge out of good will. Will get one from JL or another competitor with a longer warranty next time as it was only just over 12 months old when broke.

Got 2 Samsung tv's never had a problem .One of them is one the first full HD without HD tuner its really old . Wish it would break so I could get one of these :-(

I bought a 50 inch plasma .It failed .main board . I asked for a replacement . No, we only repair em on site . Two visits later and i was left with a working but uncalibrated t.v that was never as good as it should have been . Samsung not interested .£1250 down the pan . lesson learnt. never again.

My 3 year old Sammy developed a fault .Warranty with m&s who sent engineer .He priced parts and said not worth repair and m&s sent 899 by cheque. Samsung never involved in repair process.
