How much should you pay then for the best camera phone ( real world performance wise rather than spec wise on paper alone as with all competitors) in the world. All those 'free' phone contracts include a huge premium for the phone in their monthly cost such that if you stripped the cost of a similar sim only plan from the same network you would end up well over £600 for the phone alone over the term of the contract.

you have to set up CREDIT account with them too. but you DO NOT have to buy the item on credit. once you've set up the credit account, on the payment screen there will be a small option hidden away on the left to buy it outright now with your own bank card .

To those of you having issues with code, I seem to remember trying to order something from very years ago using a promotion code and having same issue. I could be wrong but turns out their system was linked to debehams (I think it was them) so if you have ever used debehams it wouldn't work. ARGH!!!

We'll I've ordered two S7 Edges, black and Gold, with two clear view cases and on 12 months By Now Pay Later, which in my opinion is better than the three month option.

TopCashBack appears to have tracked at 7.35% so in total that would equal £1019 (or £509.50 for a S7 Edge with a Clear view case) so £42.46 per month.

BUT!!!!!

In ordering the cases I mistakenly choose the standard S7 Gold clear view case, I tried to cancel that item but was prevented as it has already gone through the order processing system because it is in stock. I called them up and that was pointless as they couldn't cancel the item either. So will have to wait for the delivery and send it back (or I'll sell it separately). Also now trying to add the correct case to the order (with the 20% discount) was impossible, I probably won't bother or just buy the case elsewhere as the are cheaper anyway at around £35 each.

All things considered I am happy though this is by far the best S7 deal around at the moment.

no it's 12 months interest free but go a day over and they will lump on a full year of interest (that is what they are hoping on). The 3 month deal is like a deferred payment with interest, so after the 3 months you start paying interest based on an Apr rate... rather than the whole interest being applied if that makes sense. if you know you are going to and can pay in full the 6 or 12 month option is better.

saw this in samsung store yesterday. after seeing the iphone 6+ i always thought 5.5 inch screen was too big. but this phone is much more slimline and appealing. the screen goes to the edge of the phone but not around the edge, just seems like it does as the edges are rounded. on a sidenote i tried the vr headset and initially i was in awe as it was like being in a cinema. a few seconds later my head started to hurt and i took it off mighty fast!

I've got an S6 (just installed Marshmallow on it), the camera is excellent on that too. I thought about getting this phone, but common sense told me I have a decent phone, I still have one year contract left, just wait until 2017. The S7 seems to have many takers, 3 of my friends already have one. I tried my mate's S7 Edge yesterday, excellent display but still has the edge problem of being quite difficult to pick up from a flat surface. The GearVR experience is no different to the S6.

I recommend anyone who gets the S7 / Edge to get the GearVR and try Tactera Demo, Sisters, Smash Hit and Dreadhalls.

I still haven't found a decent controller for the GearVR yet and I'm not paying £69 for Samsung's poxy effort of a controller.

The Twitter team advised me to email and I've had this reply when I enquired if the S7 would be honoured in the 20% off first order on credit offer -

"Thank you for your email.

As the item is a Mobile Phone you should be able to use it, but we have seen a few customers advise of problems and it could be that our systems are detecting this items as something that is excluded from the promotion, if this is the case then we would have to have this escalated further. In order to escalate we would require the order details, account details and the promotion code.

If the promotion code is the first order promotion code, this can only be used on the first order on the account and can only be used on credit accounts.

No you don't have to pay over 3 months. When you get to the payment page, on the right there is a button to pay in full and you can select Paypal or a Credit Card.

You don't pay upfront - on my order page it states "TO BE CHARGED TO MASTERCARD £515.98 - ON DESPATCH" so you are only charged when/if it is dispatched.

Not really sure why these short cuts are restricted to the Edge as they could just as easy be set to work on a standard S7 by swiping the side of the screen. Anyway I've got a folder set up with short cuts to my regularly used apps which seems to serve the same purpose, one tap to open the folder is just as quick as swiping the Edge to get to the shortcuts.

I got it from Ebay located in France, It is either 2 sim cards or 1 sim and 1 SD card. 32 internal memory but I have had to uninstall some apps that came as they take up about half the available space. I don't a lot of memory so it's good enough for me. Depending on my circumstances I can use with one sim if I need the extra memory an SD card will give me.

I ordered the S7 Edge this morning at around 8am because around 2am the address search thing wasn't working (maybe that part of their system was not working?) but yeah I contacted one of the agents via their chat thing and they said i need to call up 08448224650 to get authorisation or to have the credit go through.. any one else having the same problems? My brother ordered a washing machine and fridge once on the same day as he opened the account and it was over £600 in total, on credit may I add and he never needed to verify! Weird

All a bit confusing in terms of my order earlier. I called to check it's status and was put through to their fraud team. they wanted to run credit checks against me which is fair enough, but the answers I gave didn't match what they had... weird. I then had to mess about getting my full passport number at which point the order was accepted and I immediately received a confirmation email.

Seems a strange way to do business, accept the order, agree the credit up to £3000 in my case but then wait for the customer to call.

Oh well, all good now.

Well we don't exactly know what the margin in on these phones.... I'd suggest it more than covers the 20% discount but I am guessing. Also a large percentage of people can't manage their finances effectively and companies like Very capitalise on that.

Well, I'm sending mine back. It's lovely, but a bit too big. The Wi-Fi keeps dropping. The speaker is too muffled. It's a bit difficult and uncomfortable to hold and I think it's too fragile for me to use without a case (and I hate cases). This is a good price, so I've already added heat.

I found the edge features to be no more than a gimmick too.

There was an option on the order screen on the right hand side of the page to pay the full amount by credit or debit card there and then. However you can just pay amount right away after you decide to keep the phone and you'll pay no interest on it.

From what I have read the Exynos is slowing in benchmark tests but it real life use you will not notice.... either way it is still an extremely powerful device.

IPC (Instructions per clock) is better and GPU better on the Snapdragon 820, IPC is still more important than multiple threads on this platform. The Exynos 8890 is fast, I'd still want the Snap 820 version though.

Also with Exynos you're at the mercy of Samsung releasing the next version of Android, so you won't get longevity in terms of OS updates.

I'd take the Snap 820 anyday over the Exynos. It was a different story last year as the Snap 810 was cack compared to the Exynos 7420 in the S6.

exynos has always been better in the Samsung phones. what I would be more concerned about is the 2 different camera sensors in both units. one has a samsung isocell sensor and the other has aSony sensor. the phone will perform well with 4gb of ram and won't heat up due to the new cooling pipe similar to that in the Xperia z5. great deal and tempted but love my G4 after moving back to it again from a nexus 6p.

is it just me...but on my new S7 Edge some icons and games and apps don't seem sharp, the edges have a jagged effect ? I am coming from an Iphone 5 with retina,

The screen does look amazing and youtube vids in 4k hd do look crisp as do most of the menus and text, but many logo's icons and my favorite games don't seem to be set to the correct pixel ratio or resolution, I note that the S7 and S7 Edge have the same resolution yet the edge has a larger screen (pixel mapping ? native)...also the edge surprisingly has less pixels per inch despite it being a bigger screen...I've not used galaxy before, wonder if the s6 edge or s7 look sharper with more pixels... or am i just being OCD ?

i would say ocd mate ive got the s7edge and s6edge and both screens are aewsome.but the brightness on the s7 edge is more superior

iphone 5 = 326 ppi pixel density
s7 edge = 534 ppi pixel density
which meens the s7 will show nearly twice as much detail on the screen compared to your iphone 5 .so maybe it was there but you couldnt se it. not quite retina 326 ppi,never new why they called a low spec screen that
iphone 6s same size screen as the s7 edge only 401 ppi so still way behind and iphone retina screens are no way near samsung Super AMOLED screen quality

the stock apps should look sharp but many 3rd party developers have not updated their app icons to the higher screen res yet. android is much more fragmented than iOS but so much more you can do. download showbox someone said that's a good app but never tried it.

EDIT: If your order status on the Very website is still Order being processed/Order pending (along those lines I can't remember exactly) you need to give the Very finance team to approve your credit account, for security purposes. They don't explicitly tell you this, but after a quick online chat I was advised I would receive a phone call within 3-5 working days after placing the order. Rather than wait for this call just call them through their contact number and ask to be put forward to their Finance team which is open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (exact times is unsure, but just to be safe.). Once they approve your credit account, your item should then be processed and be ready to be dispatched.

I can't say for sure, I assume you paid via other means CC/Paypal etc.

In my case, I opened and paid using the Very "Take 3" credit account and made a voluntary payment of £515.98 to this account prior to the order being processed. I believe the voluntary payment made the security check simple, had I not paid in full in advance perhaps they would have asked more security questions in case of fraud etc.

very similar indeed and not that much bigger in over all size really. s7 edge looks better and thats hard to say as the s6 edge is awesome looking also.the brightness on the s7 edge though wins hands down can see this being the best mobile on the market for view in direct sunlight in the summer if we get one.

A lot of people are saying that they are doing "security checks" before the order is processed, supposedly giving them a ring will help the process along.

Yep first time ever trying to buy something with Very, and the first order i placed got declined due to me using my credit (£250) on a £515 order and after that they just took my credit and then closed my account and now i can't order anything for 4 months. Looks even better than in videos and pictures and feels awesome (but fragile!). About 24GB out of box memory available. Touchwiz is still touchwiz but slighlty less irritating than before (I am coming from S6 Edge - I use the Google Now Launcher). Samsung need to get rid of their stupid Email and Calendar app (they have already rid of the Music App) and that "briefing" - it's not Flipboard anymore on the leftmost screen

Very customer service is the worst I've ever experienced! I will never order from them again! The imbeciles accepted the very credit account but when I checked out with the offer, they refused my order...I rang them & they were VERY rude & unprofessional & wouldn't tell me why my order got declined & because of their 'company policy', they can't tell me why but the way they spoke to me I believe they thought I wasn't the person I say I was, which is ridiculous! In your account, under tracking of the item it should say "Order being processed at supplier". If it has reached that stage, that means Very have already given the order to the supplier to ship the item so you don't have to do anything. If you don't have that, you may need to call them.

I'm sat here wondering if i've made a mistake in the colour that i've ordered. Nearly every phone i've had has been black so I thought 'why not try something a bit different this time' and ordered gold. The phone was an impulse but so the colour choice was not thought out.

Does the gold phone look gold? Weird question I know but when I looked at the colour options in Tesco, the gold appeared more silver than gold. Now i'm worried the silver effect was due to the artificial lights in store. I don't mind if the phone has a hint of bronze/gold but I really don't want a phone that is very gold in colour.

Please, any lads out there (mid 30s), have you opted for gold and what do you think of the colour? I may have to return, open an account in my wife's name and order the black.

I'm still very much getting used to mine, having come from a One Plus One, that was rooted and running custom Cynaogen roms....

There are things I love but a few frustrations with the Samsung bloatware (such as MS apps). Also limitations due to it not being rooted, for example not being able to set my own custom ringtone. This should be easy to resolve once/if I root it.

The build quality is fantastic, it looks great. My feeling is that the "Edge" makes the phone look great but functionally it is a bit of a waste of time.

I'm not sure I like the clear case, it is very slippery and a hassle to open/hold the phone. It is also not very protective which is the main reason I got it. So instead I'll probably use the Spigen bumper case that I got instead.

Audio sounds great with some nice optimisations, the supplied headphones are not that great in my opinion.

Battery at the moment is look average for me compared to the One Plus One.

About MS 'bloatware'.. you can just disable them....and to be fair I find most of Microsoft Apps (Office apps, Outlook and Onedrive) are quite useful but obviously that's just me.

thanks OP great deal. set up the very account applied the code and it worked. On the laptop no option to pay outright so I then logged in on my phone, it was already in my basket and the option to pay in full was there.

Everyone that's had that message seems to have had theirs delivered the next day.

Mine said that, and then the tracking didn't update anymore (I kept checking every hour or two until like 1am) but at 8.15am the next morning my phone arrived. It wasn't until after I had already received my phone that the tracking updated to say "Parcel collected by royal mail" or whatever and it didn't update that my item had already been delivered until like later that night haha.

Thanks for posting this. I ordered on Tuesday and it arrived Thursday so very quick.

I like the phone and it's super fast but find the edges really sensitive. It's probably my fat fingers catching the curved screen but when using the phone I find it often jumps into something else as it's registered a touch.

Still deciding whether to return (I've never returned anything to Very so don't know how good their returns policy is) or to look for a case which gives a bit of grip.

I personally always buy Spigen cases for my phones as imp they are excellent especially the Neo Hybrid cases. They are fairly expensive at up to £20 but they are worth it I think. The only problem at the moment is that some of the new S7 edge cases won't be available until the end of March.

So price in currys (or anywhere else) is £639. Use O2 priority to get £20 off (a £300+ spend) to bring the Instore price to £619. But first go to morrisons and buy £620 in currys vouchers, with which you will get 62p off per litre. Here's the best case argument: if you have 2 cars you can fill up with the same fuel (petrol/diesel) then pull up either side of the pump and in one go fill up both cars to max out the 100l discount you can get. I've done this successfully with a 98l fill for 2 cars with a £1 off per litre... at the time it was about 115p/litre so I ended up paying £16 to fill up 2 cars. Since you'd have to fill up your cars anyway, this is money saved off the phone! £62 off your fuel bill in this case.

Worst case scenario, you only fill say 50l in one car, hence save yourself £31.

You could do the same at John Lewis if you wanted to buy from them and have their excellent service.

I've got the Spigen Neo Hybrid and it's OK... I got it off Ebay, it wasn't very expensive although it may be a copy I guess. In any case it fits OK and offers OK protection. As with all of these cases the "edge" is exposed and that's where damage is most likely to be caused.

I've also ordered some RIngke Fusion cases (should arrive tomorrow) as I've had them on a few phones now and they have always offered good protection.

The Samsung Clear View case I've decided is not very good, looks great but offers little protecting and is very slipper, as I found earlier when the phone/case slid out of my coat as I bent over. I'm going to be selling it on Ebay (now with some unwelcome but very small marks) :disappointed:

I've got my S7 Edge from Very as of Friday, and I'm returning mine.

I've upgraded from a Note 4.

This phone for me has crashed so many times, in terms of the phone wouldn't come back on after locking it, so I had to do the soft restart with the power button and volume down button. Also, the gallery crawls to a halt when viewing images. I didn't have this issue on my Note 4.

I may just have a faulty one, but I'm personally going back to my Note 4 and returning this.

The reason I went for the S7 over the edge was because the way I hold the phone my thumb sometimes comes over and touches the screen and prevents the touch screen from activating, plus for the amount of use I use a phone for I couldn't justify the extra expense.
Whilst I am here does anybody know if it is a common failing with Samsung that the sim card sometimes becomes unattached even though it is still in the phone. I mean that when I switch on from rest the phone tells me that I have not sim card installed even though it is still in the holder. What I have to do is restart the phone and my sim card is recognised. I had this on my Samsung Grand Duos and also had it a couple of times already on my S7.
Any help would be appreciated.

No brainer bargain wise as this one's £515 via Samsung it's well over £650, plus you have the hassle of returning your phome after 12 months and hoping they don't dispute it's condition. With this deal you could sell the Edge for £300(?) after a year and then buy a S8. The only downside is the paying for it in a year. Returns wise just have a good play in CPW to make sure it's suitable.

The Samsung deal would be OK if they cut the interest rate to 5%.

Coming from S6 Edge plus, the home button on S7 Edge feels a bit on upper side and makes a clicking sound when pressed.

Is that normal? My S6 Edge+ has never felt like that , also there was no sound when pressing it.

It is in my mind that paying £515 is better but didn't know whether to take advantage of the upgrade in a year.

The other thing that bothers me is that while I love the look of the S7E (and I've had a quick mess about with one) I currently have an iPhone 6 Plus and a bit worried that I'll be stuck with the S7E if I don't get on with it and take a hit if I have to stick it on eBay etc as Very won't allow returns once it's opened.

You can never tell whether the phone will suit you whilst it's in the shop as you can't use it like your own. I've only really used iPhone's since smartphones took off (3G, 4, 5 & 6+).

I know it is hassle but the goods can be opened and provided not damaged you can use the device and find it's operation does not suite you, and you can return for a full refund, if they say 14 days on their site then that is what you must do otherwise it's 30 days. If they refuse to give a full refund it's the small claims court you have to turn to.

so looking at a few videos there is a small black border around the screen which is very visible on both silver and gold models but on the black model it blends in with the bezels so for me looks much better. Camera hole and proximity sensors are also black. gold and silver look nice though :smiley:

The front and back protectors are very good. they change the feel of screen though as have a grippy kind of feel.
The responsiveness is still great.

After much searching I bought ScreenKnight although I don't have the phone yet. I guess it's down to understanding how it's being applied. The film would probably have to be thinner due to the curvature hence it's more fiddly to apply.

From the negative feedback, I guess a lot of buyer would be applying it the conventional way which will be harder and obviously would produce more air bubbles. It would make sense to actually dip the film in soapy water first, smoothen out whilst on the phone surface and let dry. It's just like how vinyl stenciling are being applied on window displays.

It might be worth ringing them to ask the status - your order might be in the same position as others reported, I.e. The credit team have your application on hold until you call to provide more personal info. Certainly would do this if you also ordered the black one like myself

For those who don't like the phone or are having issues with it Very do seem okay with returns. I ordered mine last week and it came within a few days but I just couldn't get on with holding it properly.

The design of it meant my fingers were always catching the edges which caused the phone to open new apps or move to another screen.

Maybe mine was faulty as others don't seem to have this issue (or maybe they're holding it properly!). In any case I called them on Friday and they gave me a returns number and told me to send it back using the label in the box. I actually sent it by Special Delivery rather than using the label. I'm assuming they'll just credit the account after a few weeks.

I take it you are talking about the keyboard that comes up when you want to type in a text and not the phone dialler. If it is the former then there's a really easy answer to that one which is to install a different keyboard where the keys are not as close together like Swiftkey for instance. If it's the letter then you definitely need that dialling wand. Also having a decent case for the phone stops a lot of accidental edge interaction.

So I think I have found the answer to the missed key taps. I honestly thought I had a faulty model but seems this may not be the case. I have just been into O2 store to test the display model of the S7E which is bolted on so you don't have to hold it in your hand. I tried typing and the 1 on the keyboard registered accurately so I immediately thought mine must be faulty BUT I picked the phone up in my hand and tried the same thing and the 1 registered as 2 !!! it seems if your holding the phone the bottom right of the edge screen was probably detecting my palm whilst I was trying to use the left side of the edge screen and the phone is getting a little confused to which part of the screen . the display is crazy sensitive so maybe there is a powder sensitivity setting option. A case would obviously solve this problem. Hope this helps someone else .

When I called I just told them it kept jumping to other screens when I was using it. The guy said it sounded faulty and said to return it and they'd credit my account. He even said I could reorder another phone and still get the discount though don't know how this would work.

Other than that it was a great phone so I may look at the standard S7 or just carry on using my old Z3 until the new Xperia comes out later this year.

It got back with them yesterday though I've not had anything show up on my account yet.

I returned mine using the online return requested stating 'too big' as the reason. They refunded within 24 hours and it hit my card about a week later.

My wife tried tried to cancel an order that hadn't even been sent out yet, they were really weird with her. After transferring her to what seemed to be a supervisor, they kept asking security questions, asking her to confirm her age etc. They asked the reason for cancelling and she said that it was a change of mind, they said they would cancel the order AND cancel the account. She said it felt like an interrogation.

I don't think either of us will deal with them again, something shady about how they were on the phone.

As others have said a case would have possibly solved the issue of touching the sides but I don't like using cases on phones.

You should be able to but if you've only ordered recently then the order hasn't been confrmed yet, and you may need to go through some security quesions on the phone before it's accepted so I'd hold off for now.

I was referring to well specced phones being available in the hundred pound range. OK, the S7 is amazing, but it ain't this much money amazing, and the Chinese manufacturers are only going to get better at copying for much less.

Problem is phones in the £100 range aren't well speeced, they are just basic smartphones, if you want the best and most up to date then phone the S7 or iPhone 6S are the only choices. Why buy a cheap Chinese copy for £300 with a 1 year return to China warranty when you can get the best for £515 with a full 2 year UK warranty?

Received mine today. Had bought 1 in Gold and 1 in Black. They'd given me a £1000 credit so called me to ask me to pay the extra £27.97 on my credit card. I'd only ordered them on Friday and the website had said that they wouldn't be in stock until 11 April, so was surprised to receive them so quickly.

Had been miffed when Very had closed my account with them last January for not having used them in a while, but it was handy to be able to use this new customer discount on these phones when opening a new account with them.

For those that ordered on BNPL be careful. Few things:

Firstly, even though I chose BNPL apparently it didn't happen so I just made a full payment today otherwise I may have been charged interest.

Secondly, if your BNPL did go through, every time you make a payment towards that BNPL you need to call Very and make sure that the payment you have made is targeted towards the BNPL item. It is in their terms & conditions. The payments may apply to the BNPL anyway (instead of sitting as credit in the account) but don't risk it and make the phone calls.

But yeah, long story short be consistently checking your Very account, at least for the first month or two so you know that everything is in order.

Good deal but having a absolute nightmare with it, I didn't apply the code like an idiot, its worded very strange as it's not "buy now" it's "apply to account" (I'm not use to credit catalogue sites) it seemed to be worded that "apply to account" was to do it over 3 months, which it is but it also finalises the purchase, I've spoke to Very and they have assured me they will add the promo code but I haven't had any confirmation on my actual account :disappointed: I'm an idiot.

EDIT: Scratch that, seems that it was matching my name to an account I made years ago, used my GF's name and it worked ok.

I've got a number of items on BNPL 12 months. You can login to your account and assign a payment to certain items. I just spread the cost over 12 months and assign the payment to I instead of just paying the minimum payment which only comes off the item not on BNPL. Make sure it is paid up before the interest fee period as you will be hit with a lot of interest

What usually happens with Very cashback in my experience anyway is that if a voucher is used for the purchase it does not get paid. It usually shows as being tracked and even sometimes as in the cases above it shows as being confirmed but in the end they don't pay you it.

I accident bought a gold 7 clear view case, not edge, but didn't return it as I didn't want to do anything that might cause the TCB to be declined... I'm not sure if I'm still in the 30 day return period but may return it now.

Just a simple query,if someone can answer please:
Is this deal (Take3 with 20% off with code) - for *NEW CREDIT* account holders or completely-new VERY account holders (aka who never had any very account ot transaction in the past?)

Reason I ask this is - that both me and my partner have a VERY account (regular- not having taken credit ever) - as I bought a Wii U (full price paid) and partner bought Xbone (full price paid) through VERY between 2012-2015.

If me /or parner login with our existing credentials and then open a Take3 credit account - are we eligible for 20% off?
OR if we create a new account using different mail id - that works / or not works - if VERY looks up our address and name (in their database) ?

If I bundle/add a Gear VR (£79) with an S7 - do I get 20% off that as well (or they would count that under electronics and no 20% off)- anyone tried doing that. BTW after a standard-flat S7 as Gear VR works better with S7 than Edge :smiley:

I had a basic account I had 1 order on but no credit. I created a new account with credit on a new email, but I used my name and address which they must of matched to the old one and I could not apply the code on that new account.

I had to create a new credit account in my girlfriends name (she has never had a very account) then I could use the code.

That *does* mean that I am out-of-luck as both me and partner have ordered stuff on VERY accounts in past (at the same address we currently live in) -which means that even if we create a new credit account using a new email id - they will match our address details and decline 20% off :disappointed:((

Even you create new account they have internal check for matching post codes and mobile numbers so not likely to get but I have read on this thread they created new accounts and bought

Thanks meloorsna. Yes, hurting our credit score is what I fear in case they decline simply because me and partner have regular accounts at same address although we paid in full (not a credit account).

Worthy trying option 2 though: New account with new mail id...unless they check address/postcode as well. Phone number...well that we have a different one now.....so may work...
PS..No I didnt try logging into our existing accounts and try the code...for 20% off as I asumed it was for fresh credit account created and not converted(from regular) accounts....

To all of those who purchased the phone on twelve months BNPL;

This is slightly different to any BNPL scheme I've signed up to in the past, so I want to clarify and double check to be on the safe side, as it seems there's a minimum monthly payment that needs to be made on the account to avoid occuring any charges? Even though it also says so long as the item has been paid off before the end of the payment free period you'll avoid paying any interest?

Just interested to hear people's take on it and what they're doing before I fire an email off to Very to clarify.

I'm not sure whether a regular monthly payment is due or not. My statement says minimum payment of £3.99 due but this could just be the delivery charge as delivery can't be included on a BNPL plan. Suppose I'll know more when the next statement goes live.

Anyone applying for this, bear in mind they will do a hard foot print credit search on you. Their criteria seem to be quite strict and you must be currently on the electoral register at the address you give otherwise the credit will be declined and order cancelled. (I recently moved)

If you phone up to query then be prepared for extremely invasive questions in order for them to clear security/fraud screen.

Suppose it is a good thing to protect innocent people from fraud, but frustrating!

The third person i spoke to said it was because of the electoral roll, but i wasn't offered any alternatives like you describe, I was just told i had to wait.

Anyone having wifi problems with their S7 edge? My phone stopped connecting to wifi. When i try to switch wifi on, it says "Turning WiFi on... " for about 2 minutes and gives up... Same case with Bluetooth. Did try Factory Reset with no luck... :'(

Can't see what the problem should be because usually when you ask for a credit operation of any kind when you fill in the application it asks for your address and the it usually says if less than 3 years give previous address. This is because the checking companies will not necessarily have your latest address on your records and can be referenced against your records they hold.

Surprisingly; after Ordering two S7's and receiving them very soon two days thereafter - the BALANCE TO PAY is reflecting correctly as £916 under my accounts - but the FIRST statement generated only shows less than £5 to pay!!

I believe that is only for delivery charges?? So VERY did not charge anything at all to cover for £910 I spent on two S7's??

I took a Take 3. Does any one recommend paying in full (as per the Balance To Pay) under orders; [i]to avoid paying any Interest (which I don't want to pay)OR wait for the next statement for Take3:: as the Take 3 account says that there would be no interest for first 3 statements?[/i] Any one paid in full after first statement even if the statament was less than £5??

That; I am sure would be a safe way not to incur any interest charges - as I am quite worried that they are charging only less than a £5 in their first statement(on Take3) - when the entire balance is over £900!

I just ordered this, everything has gone though OK. For the record you don't actually need to buy the phone with credit. The requirement is that you have a credit account.....you can still go through and pay in full just on a normal card and still get the phone for 515. Not sure about my cash back yet, lets see what happens.

I'm using Bodyguardz Screen protector. Very easy to put on with no peeling or bubbling. It comes with some liquid gel which helps with the process. The only thing is it's not edge to edge which is fine by me since I prefer some leeway for the bumpers.

~Using Phone with Gear VR & Case~:: Could anyone recommend / or anyone has experience of using an easy to put-on-off case/cover for S7 - so that it can be used frequently with Gear VR?
OR has anyone tried using any thin case, which does not require it taken-off to use with Gear VR?

The reviews of Gear VR suggest that its recommended to use the phone -without- screen protector and a case.
So, in that situation - leaving S7 unprotected without a case is also dangerous for the phone and if a case/cover is not easy to take off then also its an issue, if one plans to use it frequently with Gear VR accessory...
Any thoughts or recos?

Best to clear cookies before you start.

1) Create an account with quidco
2) serach for very on the quidco website
3) click the link in quidco that takes you to the Very website
4) Purchase what you want as usual
5) You're done.
the fancy cashback stuff happens in the background and you should soon get an email saying the purchase has tracked. A few weeks later your account should so the money as 'confirmed' (i.e. able to withdraw from quidco to your bank).

No. Go on quidco, search for very. Click the link. Add the phone to your basket. Create account with credit. At the paiement page you either take their credit or on the right there's the option to pay all in one go

Looks like on the very website it's only gold and black which is a shame because I'd prefer silver or white. The silver and white are available in the UK at other retail stores but I don't think they'll be as cheap as it is currently at Very.

I would say a Very good deal.

Simply the best smart phone on the market right now, if not of all time. Never liked Samsung until now. Absolutely despise touch wiz.

No such thing as a perfect phone but use nova to hide touch wiz and invest in some decent headphones and you are pretty damn close.

I've always been an iPhone buyer but Samsung Galaxy seems to be bringing out mobiles which are superior to the iPhone. I went into the TCW to checkout the colour, black looks plastic and cheap, gold looks like an O.A.P's colour but the silver titanium looks the part, although on the display model there was a scratch I saw on the silver, only small but stood out like a sore thumb. It put me off a little but would just need a protective screen or case. The phones are extremely attractive and feel grea to hold due to the curve but they do have a slippery feel to it. I bet thousands of people have had there phone slip out there hands!

I know, easily done, they just throw words on the end like edge, plus etc and that's a reason for the company to bring a new mobile out. I wish they'd just bring a new mobile out every couple of years instead of every 6 months or so. What's worst is the prices of these mobiles, I bet people have had there house reprocessed because of having crippling mobile debts!

You have to apply for a Very Credit account before it let's you use the code. You're entering it in the right place, just need to create an account first.

I've had a little bit of fun with them. Made a small mistake on placing my first order (which got cancelled), and despite getting written and verbal confirmation from Very that they would apply the same discount to my subsequent order, I've been battling with them for the last 2 months to get the discount fully applied. They've even tried to suggest that it's not (and therefore never was) eligible for the discount. I'm presuming enough people on here can see the discount applied to their orders in their online accounts tho ...
