If it helps anyone nearby, the DVD+R were available at the Edinburgh Straiton branch that I visited at £2.30. On the shelf ticket it said £13, so I imagine they won't sell any time soon. At the till they scanned as £2.30. I bought one, there were around four left. The DVD-R were £4, scanned at the till. There were around 3 left. There was no ticket for them on the shelf, so you might be in luck if you want to pay £4.

Got 3 packs of DVD+R (50) for £2.30 each and 1 pack of DVD+RW (25) for £1.80 in the Walthamstow High Street branch.
If a deal is in there it must be national
Still a fair number of both and the CDs on the shelf.

Seen these in a few stores at the same price, so may be national. Remember using one of these in my MK1 Punto...

Aged parents who have no idea how to stream anything, my car and wife's car both of which are too old to have any sort of usb interface, sending stuff to daughter who lives just over 150 miles away and has lousy broadband speed and no idea how to download stuff.
Good deal, will have a look at my local later when shopping.
