I bought one 4ah battery for my cordless a while back for £70 with the vat so this seems quite a good deal, two batteries,drill and charger for £148 at B&Q. Despite all the stick Ryobi will get on this post I can only comment on my experience on site and they have lasted me years. Just noticed it has been cheaper

The 4ah batts are brill on the One+ system, I laid 2 floors with the circular and built a chicken house with jigsaw and drill before needing a charge.
The system suits my home diy needs perfectly.

Got a great deal a while ago for this drill with two batteries still going strong batteries last for ever powerful action as well not sure how good the price is but if competitive worth getting

Don't get the hate on this site for Ryobi. I got a corded 500w jigsaw from Very for 39 quid (easily the best deal at the time) and it's been absolutely faultless.

There are a very small number of people who post the same, tired fanboy nonsense. Just ignore them. Ryobi tool are generally excellent for the price (plus, their batteries are some of the best on the market). I have many of them, along with De-Walt and Bosch. They all perform brilliantly.
I frequent the US, and Ryobi are *huge* there. A very big and well respected brand. Many of the worksites I've been on used their tools exclusively due to the ease of repair if you damage them / they break.
I just noticed this comes with the fast charger. This is a seriously good buy, great find. They're over £30 on their own. Batteries are ~£70 each.
The only thing I'd say is that I do actually like smaller batteries on my drills as it makes them easier to handle. Just depends if you want to be swapping / charging though. The 4ah batteries last forever in a drill (we're talking days of use without charging).

Prob cheap as new brushless drill is out soon. Cheapest I got 4ah for was £58. So great offer IMO. Love Ryobi especially their impact driver!!

agree with the hate. I recently put up the one plus cordless drill with 2 x 1.3ah batteries for £89 and got me no where. ah well.

To be fair; I found the low ah lithium batteries useless - just about ok for drilling, but inbuilt protection cuts in really early for things like angle grinding.

honestly its overpriced for what you are getting...I have few ryobi tools and they are really decent, but i picked them up dirt dirt cheap and they are an excellent value when you get them cheap, but they are not in the same league as my higher end makita stuff.

I bought this for less than £100 at B and Q about a year ago. And yes, it was definitely with 2 batteries.
It's a great drill though and as mentioned above, the batteries last ages.

Jokes on you I will rather buy an used good tool than a new inferior one.. ryobi is not what they used to be quality wise anymore, I have few old ryobi tools and they were quality stuff (pretty much same league as makita) but today ryobi is DIY only...

very tempted just for the battery packs and charger, should get at least 30-40 on ebay for the drill.
i have loads of one+ stuff but only 3 of the 1.5ah batts, which are fine for drill, impact & torch.
definately need more power for saws and inflator

I bought the same drill with 2 of the smaller batteries from B&Q for £98 about 6 months ago.
Question you'd need to ask yourselves is, is the bigger of the two batteries worth an extra £50? .. for me, with just domestic use, the answer is no.

I've just checked Screwfix and the usual places, and you have to spend even more than that to get that kind of package with a Makita.
Depends on the tool. Buy their cheaper stuff and then sure, I wouldn't use it on a building site either, but plenty of their tools are aimed at higher grade jobs, they just cost more.
Same goes for the drills - this one is a basic drill but will be fine for 90% of people. If you start drilling into oak everyday with it, then yeah, sure, you want something with a bit more power.
The fact that you simply dismiss a brand that offers lots of products aimed at different uses is just silly. The Ryobi R18PDBL-0 is considered to be one of the best drills in the last year for the price by a lot of people, but costs a lot more than this one the OP has posted. Same goes for the RID1801M Impact driver - one of the highest rated drivers on the market on any website you can find, which is amazing given the price.

I know the DeWalt DCD795 drill posted last week only has 2 x 2.0ah batteries, but it is brushless, has more speed and torque and comes with charger and case. Surely this is a better option than this Ryobi??
If you're just after a drill and don't care about using the batteries with other OnePlus products, then yeah, that's a good deal. 2ah batteries still last a while in a drill anyway. Voted hot there for you.

Ordered and received. The kit is actually really good; the batteries are fully charged and it all comes with a handy fabric case/bag which holds it all together.
Got to assemble 3 rooms worth of flat pack tomorrow so this was a great find OP; thanks.

Really makes me laugh some comments from people who have never used what they are slating, ive used ryobi for years and years as well as others and they are flawless in the price/quality range. Got ine cordless that's over 10 years old still going strong and bought for next to nothing.

I just left a hotel in Norfolk (national chain) and they were undergoing a complete refurb. I asked the trademen about the Ryobi deal and in response three of the workers whipped out Ryboi drills and impact drivers.
One battery; does it all. They said Ryobi is spreading like wildfire across the trade. So, your opinion is worth nothing to be honest.

It's a heavy piece of kit with the 4ah battery on. Will probably look to get a 1.5ah battery with another ONE+ tool for portability at some point.
Quick question, is it normal to see sparks inside the drill when it's being used?!

Just used it for 2 days straight putting in 40 sq. metres built in wardrobes and 28 sq. metres of kitchen units and it has been flawless. Drilled into dry board, plaster and some joists and the drill chewed through in seconds.
A bit sparky at the rear end as noted above. I coupled this with the Amazon Lightning deal for DeWalt magnetic quick release chuck & attachments for £14.
All in all I think it's kit it will be handed down to my kids. Loving one+.
