Same here I put 2 coats on my shed and fence last May, it's already coming off in places, though the wood wasn't exactly a great base. Sadolin is pretty good stuff, though expensive, did my weatherboards with it 2 years ago, still looks pretty good, south facing too.

Ronseal is appalling. You're better off **** against the wall.

Peeps, as said, this stuff is absolutely useless as is the Cuprinol. Problem being is that they are all water based. Just bought a new shed from a company that has been building quality sheds for a very long time. They recommend Ronseal SFWPLB5L Shed & Fence Wood Preservative, which is a solvent based treatment. Two coats will probably be required. Unless you can get Creosote.

Re: coverage - isn't this a stain rather than a paint?

even the price is right, this stuff isn't good at all.
cuprinol one coat ( more like 3+coats ,lol ) fence paint is probably the most decent stuff, not that Any of this fence ''treatment'' stuff is any good at all to be honest.. what happened with just painting your fence with the ''nasty'' regular paint that looks good, takes 1-2coats and will stay the same colour for 10+years instead of needing to repaint every year with this watery crap!

That's a great price.
Heat added for that.....
But the stuff is like water and not very good (bought several tubs last year and regretting as needs repainting in the same season).
The homebase stuff is better in my view.

Agreed, even the blurb on the side of the tub says it lasts "Up to 2 Years"! I put two coats on in the summer and it already needs redoing in places. I'd avoid and find a product that lasts longer, unless you like painting wood every year.
