looks like the cheapest I've seen it, big fan of the others in the series so I'm very tempted!

If you're a fan of the RCT series, then you need to hold out for Planet Coaster which is actually being developed by the team behind RCT3. This game, RCTW, is being developed by Nvizzio Creations and before that was being developed by Area 52 Games and before that was being developed by Pipeworks Software.
While there's still hope that RCTW will be better than the car crash of a BETA it had, this is about as much money as I'd be willing to pay for it. Got my preorder down for Planet Coaster already, though. Check out some videos on YouTube.
Three different developers will extend the time of any development cycle

Not particularly excited for this based on the mobile reception. Planet Coaster is looking fantastic so curious to see how that alpha goes. I need me some coaster tycoon games. Glad they are coming back.

If you think RCT3 was bad, then I wouldn't hold out hope for either RCTW or Planet Coaster. You want to look at a game like Parkitect which replicates the style of the original RCT and RCT2.

This looks awful, probably why it's so cheap. I certainly won't be pre-ordering. Fortunately, Planet Coaster looks to be taking over where RCT3 left off, from Frontier also.

RCT3 was **** though (IMO) so it doesn't give me much confidence in Planet Coaster.

Thanks for the heads up on planet coaster guys, had no idea a new tycoon game from frontier was even in development. I'm probably going to get both, to be quite honest I wasn't really tempted to get rctw at this price (partly because I don't have a desk right now) it's just the best price I had seen for the game so far. Anyone know where the best place is to preorder planet coaster?

Got to agree with everyone else, please dont pre order this, really doesnt have much going for it at the moment. I hope I'm wrong and it turns out OK but at least wait for reviews before buying. Planet Coaster is looking good so far but will be a while before that's out.

No way should you be pre-ordering this. Good chance it's gonna be pants.

Pre-ordering is a bad idea anyway, but Christ on a stick I wouldn't risk a fiver on this never mind £14.24, and I enjoy these kind of games! It will never hold it's price and will be a likely candidate for cheap keys / Steam discounts in no time
If you're daft enough to waste money on a pre-order, prepare yourself to moan, whinge and cry when it turns out to be tripe, and know it's your own fault
Another mobile port, which was (apparently) rubbish on mobile! Not going to be brilliant on PC then!

I am a little worried this is not going to live up to many people expectations but let's be honest at that price it has to be worth a stab what's 15 squids and you can put the money you save towards planet coaster if it's rubbish

Yes, unfortunately I had hopes for this when it was announced.
The RCT name is ruined with this and the mobile iteration.
RIP.

Guys stay weeeeeeelll away from this, it's been plagued with problems from day 1. This game has absolutely nothing to do with the Rollercoaster Tycoon series... the project has shifted from studio to studio due to internal problems with Atari, and the current developer have never even built a PC game before. It's a mobile studio!

They've also been caught stealing artwork from other games such as No Limits 2.
As has been said already, get Planet Coaster instead. It's from the people who created Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, and the alpha starts in 4 days!!

excellent price and can't imagine it's that much longer to wait, the time and effort they're putting in to getting this game just right is immense!

Very nice price for this... May have to buy it! Love these games too and been looking forward to this one
I watched Nerd cubed play the beta for this over on YouTube a while ago and it looks great

Any decent reviews out for this yet? Mobile version was utter tripe, fan of the older versions though

Not as far as I'm aware, steam reviews back from a beta testing weekend in November suggest that some of the advancements they have made are going in the right direction but there were still issues that need to be fixed with the coaster builder for example. Those should be fixed by the time the game is released hopefully.
