Because if they uploaded a pic of this place, you'd see a grubby beach, potholed roads, broken pavements and a shut down building site or two.

Snap !! Us Midlanders never get good flights from Bham
I live close to Heathrow so even for us its annoying that deals tend to be from the other London Airports (and not the one on our doorstep).
But, aside from LHR, airport parking isn't too bad at the other Airports (LTN/STN/LGW) if you book in advance. In this case the flight is quite early so you might need to grab a cheap hotel for the night before, but the return flight time should be ok to drive straight home (although you'd probably hit some traffic so another cheap hotel might be in order).
You just have to appraise the overall cost against the hassle factor :/ I have to admit these days I often use my miles/stump up the extra.

been there last year in Sep around 0.5 mile away from coralii apartments and used to go eat something there , area is quiet , food not that good and became expensive. I would rather had better meal in london for same price , nothing to do beside beach and visiting other towns , lovely beach near by , need to rent car or bike , buses working terrible , taxi from airport cost me 70 Euro , 50 was two years ago and prices up 25-30% , hope this year wont go again 25% taxi will cost you 90 euro

And/or use either Mega Bus OR National Express from Brum to London Luton, London Gatwick or whatever?, then .....
As long as times/days are favourable ofcourse? (then its kinda a non-brainer from that point on really ..... ) :-)

Never been to Pefkos but like the look of it and love Greece. It is very early in the season so the resort won't be fully opened and it will be very quiet, but that will suit some people and you can't argue with the price.

Pefkos can be an extremely laid back, relaxing holiday, if you know where to eat/go. Dama Dama is a brilliant restaurant, and is booked full almost every night in the holiday peak season. The weather is usually lovely in summer, but if you're not content with relaxing in pretty much the same spot each day, then car hire is a must.
Also, to people complaining who are from the midlands, trains down to London cost around £6 each way if you book in advance!

Coralli's is a really great restaurant run by very friendly people Tsambika and her husband Yannis.
I have a house nearby and had one of our wedding celebrations there - a big feast with spit roast, dancing, fire, smashing - the full Greek works.
This is unbelievably good value for money - I'm sad it's so cheap in all honesty.
They go far out of their way to help everyone have a great time. Also this year Billy (waiter) is back, he was always a hit with the visitors. See the Friends of Corallis FB group to see how many people love it there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/96738087981/?fref=ts
It's smack on the sea front and the apartments are of a good standard. With regards the paths and rubble etc - this IS Greece. That's what it's like all over. Do note; it can be a good 15mins walk back into Pefkos along a road which isn't great at night. That's the only negative I can offer.
They're constantly investing in the place, last year saw some huge palm trees added to the front, previous year some really nice exclusive poolside private dining areas, before that - water features etc.
If you want a cheap Greek holiday in the sun with superb food and somewhere to chill in the day you can't go wrong IMHO.
[edit] - Also they open earlier than most places, it's possible Pefkos might not be awake mid April. I actually prefer it out of season, nice and quiet and no bloody tourists clogging up the roads. :stuck_out_tongue:

Guys a little tip to save you cash parking. There are tonnes of spots to park in manor royal in Crawley and get the number 10 bus. I used to work close to a stop, postcode is rh10 9ga, park for free, £2.20 pp bus ride every 7 minutes to north and south terminals

Lindos doesn't change much. It can't due to the strict building laws in that protected area. (Word Heritage) They have curfew laws now on late night music, but that's about it.
Many restaurants have upped their game and look a bit more sophisticated, which is a shame in my book as they're loosing the original Greek feel.

I can understand why people would like a bit of privacy on a beach or when with family but It's not any different when a somebody visits us in the UK. Pretty much everywhere you go is overcrowded.
So why should we expect different when we go overseas. I think it actually adds to the holiday vibe seeing many people of different races as long as they are polite and do not stare at the mrs lol.

Do you want the moon on a stick too!?
In my experience when you give people aircon for free they take the micky, leave it on, open the doors, go out with it left on etc. Sadly charging for it is the only way to make people understand how to be responsible users.

Highly unlikely you will need aircon in April,I've been to Greece including the more southerly islands, many times in May (which should be warmer) and never even thought about it.Cheaper Greek accommodation rarely includes aircon..pretty much the norm not to.

It ain't hot in April.
Mid May is usually the start of the season and even then it is mild.
Went in july last year and melted on the first night, however.
Went down in the morning and paid €30 for the week of aircon in a smaller, all inclusive hotel.
€5 per day to be a hell of a lot more comfortable is absolute peanuts.

Thought it was too quiet, Its ok for families but for anyone wanting a bit of night life then I wouldn’t recommend it.
In terms of the deal though, I've voted hot, as it is a good price.
