Really, brand new opened box and a dent.
Would you take a part exchange of some brand new toilet paper just with a stain on?
Good price for a cheap tablet to chuck in a bag for holiday usage.

Have you tried searching ebay? It was the first one that came up when I searched!

31 Mar 16#12
Of course I did. I searched for "Linx" and "Linx 7" and "Linx 7 refurbished". If it's the one sold by Argos in the following link, the code doesn't work for me.
Lots of people on the ebay code thread are saying the code is giving errors. Some have needed to enter it up to 10 times. Ebay/PayPal is being hammered at the moment.

OK, that explains it - thanks.

how can this be hot.... I bought it for 40 quid brand new on recent black friday and I also sold the office 365 key for 25 quid which essentially made it 15 quid brand new....
also note the audio jack for linx 7 is partially faulty and windows on tablet sucks....
imo it's not worth 30 quid even brand new...

Well it's not black friday anymore, so given that they aren't normally this cheap, it's kind of a good deal? Think I might get one to stick in my bag

well you can go ahead but I just want to warn other people there are issues about this tablet e.g. faulty with the audio jack (a common problem of this model). Plus the 40quid brand new price tag on the black friday deal actually lasted for about 2 weeks on ebay so I'm sure it will come back down again some time soon.
this is refurbished as well which means you may not have the free office 365 included.
It depends on what you use it for. I've got the 10" and it's too heavy for gaming for long periods; the 7" would be ideal.

Can't dispute this is a good deal! However you can pick up a Surface RT on Ebay for not much more money than this (paid £40 for mine with keyboard). Yes it's RT but if you just want something to go on the Internet with a bigger screen it more than does the job.

I have an 8" windows tablet and the experience is pretty hopeless. I'm a fan of windows on desktops and laptops but it's awful for phones and tablets in my opinion. pay extra and get an android device, or apple if that's your thing.

my windows tablet also has the headphone jack problem. The workaround for me is using a Bluetooth headset (QY7) and mic. But it's so rarely used, it's not that big a deal.

Had one of these since Dec 2014 when they were £60 and they are not too bad.
Plus points = Reasonably quick to boot up (but don't leave in standby as the battery drains) great to take on holidays for internet browsing, checking emails Skype etc without worrying you'll loose or break your expensive ipad. It's got HDMI out so can connect to tv for catch up or put KODI on it for more content. Can add another 32gb card for less than £10 for film and music storage so no need of ipod. Cheap price for a basic Windows computer.
Negative points = Battery only lasts about 4 hours compared to ipads 10 or 12. Small screen can be a bit fiddly sometimes but better than a phone for internet.
All in all well pleased I bought mine, haven't bothered to upgrade to Windows 10 as there are reports of some problems when you do and mine does all I require of it

yup, these have headphone problems in the 5+ tablets I've worked with, all Linx 7s, they all do. Upside is you can just contact Linx and get another one asa replacement, new, for free, which will still have the same problem, but will be in new condition and include another copy of Office.

I only need this to copy photos from my camera to my NAS. Using the Chromebook with Windows shares is a real pain...
