I genuinely don't like posting laptop deals (normally) but this seems like a decent price for a "AS NEW" 14" laptop with a 1 year warranty.
eBay deal of the day, specs are:
Windows 8.1 operating system with
14" display
Laptop has a 500GB hard drive
2GB RAM
Intel® Celeron® processor
up to 7hr battery life
Good for a light use laptop? You tell me.

Pretty good for a mobile Dev machine. Stick a bit more RAM in, upgrade Windows to 10, curse because Windows 10 upgrade is hanging, go away and make a cup of tea, watch a couple of episodes of Breaking Bad, come back to the same 'Windows is preparing for install' screen, go postal and stamp on the Laptop, smile to yourself and feel content about £99.99 well spent.

Looks like it, yes. Its just a dummy drive which slides out and I presume you use the fascia from it and attach it to the front of the new drive. Not sure of model but this listing on a well know auction site looks like it would fit.
I believe you can also buy a second hard-drive caddy that will slot into it, but dont know which one, sorry. Maybe this one?
I've ordered an external usb3 drive which plays blu-rays and burns DVD's and CD's for around £21 from the same auction site. Easier for me to plug in or out when needed rather than permanently keeping the extra weight inside. I can leave it behind if not planning to use it to save weight and it spinning up occasionaly and using power. Can also use on other devices.
Hope that helps.

Upgraded the ram yesterday to 1866mhz 8gb. Says in some system settings its only 1333mhz but ignore it. Now showing as using upto 2gb for video and the rest is split between system with around 4-5gb free.
Had to remove around 17 screws off the back, then prise off the back with a little force. Memory slot right there, so no removal of motherboard etc, so its not the same as the video of the 511 thank goodness.
Not noticed a massive improvement, but shouldnt expect to unless opening several apps at once. Noticed the HD is 100% for a while after boot up so swapping to an SSD might help improve further, but for the cost, probably not justified.
If you expect speed, you probably wouldnt have bought this laptop anyway.

Sure, I agree with you that the 2GB RAM and HDD will be the bottle neck even before the Celeron CPU.
But they can be upgraded.
I am just thinking this Celeron + 8GB RAM + SSD, Celeron is the bottle neck now. In this situation, will the Celeron be powerful enough. From what I see, it is very weak.

I go with i3's myself, but I ordered a laptop at work with one of these in and it's perfectly fine for day to day tasks. The hard drive and/or memory is going to be the bottleneck.
It is a 10 inch laptop. The two laptops cannot be directly compared.
I have head Lenovo Flex is ok. I only searched into Flex 2 14 and 15 inch with FHD IPS screen. Do not know about Flex 1 10 inch.

Not sure what codec YT uses for 4k. Might be x265/HEVC or derivative in which case a stick with Z3735F/G SoC will struggle but one with Z8300 should be fine as it natively supports HEVC. Currently contemplating a Z8300 purchase but can't decide between stick or tablet.

The previous refurbished I bought was an Medion A4 1200 for £150 a couple of years ago and if it's anything like that (bloatware, third party apps) then you'll want spend some time trimming it and setting it up to run on as little resources as possible. As long as you're under no illusion of what you can do then IMO it's perfectly fine for everyday tasks. Browsing web, skyping, youtube, email, watching the odd film. Even manage to encode some home movies once but took ages.
Before Win10 you could disable updates and defender but now be prepare to take a toilet break when updates randomly kicks in.
No need to spend anymore if it's the basics you're after.

Is the N2840 and 2GB RAM not going to struggle on even day to day tasks, even chrome?
N2840 is weak at the bottom range of CPU as bad as A4, it may only be stronger than Atom. It has less than 2/3 of power of my 7 years old retired duo core.
I am not a CPU person. I think i3, A8, stronger Celeron or Pentium are enough for day to day task. But this N2840 (as well as N2830) is one of the weakest Celeron still on sale.
I do think the laptop will struggle even with day-to-day tasks sometimes if not all the time.
You would be much better to pay £200/190 for a refurbished i3 or similar, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD with 12 months warranty.

I doubt you'd get a half decent machine any bigger than 15" screen for that price, so not much in it. Have you thought of hooking the 11" laptop to a bigger monitor like a 24+" (assuming the resolution and connections on the 11" will support that)?
Not ideal, I know, but for that budget might be an option.
Try ebuyer or similar. Often have daily deals on monitors of that sort of size.
