make sure to keep any receipts in case it doesn't track. i had one recently that never showed up on quidco but without the receipt I couldn't claim later on.

The Caffe Nero 50% off, offer has taken months and months to validate. Still nothing. All purchases tracked, so how hard can it be to validate/confirm an in-store purchase? Only do it if you are buying something anyway, don't rely on it.

i have previously used click and collect, paid in instore (with a registered card) and the transaction (and coins if you are collecting them) have tracked without a problem.

also with regards to quidco support i have spoke to them on occasion before, they can be pretty hit and miss, they say one thing and the opposite happens

Cashback via these sites is never guaranteed , often it tracks, sometimes not.Don't buy on the basis that you are getting cashback as you may not. If your making a purchase anyway, give it a go, nice bonus if it works.

Next vouchers can be bought in Argos so easy way to pay off your next directory if your daft enough to have one

Not like they have not already, if you fast track then get a print out from pay by card machine rather than use the code sent to you to collect it you join the queue! Some fasttrack!

Anyone know how this actually works, are their any security implications. I know you provide your card details to Quidco first, but presumably that means Argos are also storing your card details in order to cross reference with Quidco and verify the purchase.
Does anyone foresee a problem with these companies storing live credit card details and passing them around between themselves, not sure I'm comfortable with that, happening especially as it's not being made clear to me exactly how it works.

Just a warning to others about this offer. I clicked "Activate" on the Argos High Street deal and it showed I had 28 days of 10% cashback remaining. However, when I click on the cashback link I get the "Sorry we couldn't find what you were looking for but it's not all bad news, here are some popular offers to browse." error.

A Quidco online chat yesterday informed me that the deal is not available to me, as it's for a limited number of members, and that's why I am getting the error message. And yet according to the status page I have a month of 10% cashback at Argos.

I am very disappointed in Quidco creating this misleading situation. Especially since I was contemplating a £570 spend on a 'phone purely because of the cashback deal.

Click and Collect will work - as long as you use the card registered with your Quidco account to pay for the item in store.

When Quidco told you it wouldn't work, they were referring to cashback for online purchases - which won't work for click and collect.

If I now make several in-store purchases in different Argos stores by the stated deadline, will I get 10% cashback for all the purchases, or just the first one? Also make sure you check the offer is still activated before you buy in-store. I was about to buy in Argos yestreday, signed in with my Phone, and the offer was not activated even though I activated it, before adding the second card, a couple of days ago.

​​I think quidco in store has always had a 24 hour delay when adding a new card before it can be used, but to be fair they do tell you this when you register the card. I've always assumed there's something that goes on behind the scenes to set up tracking of the card.

I use both quidco and tcb and find that neither seem as reliable as they were a few years ago. Regularly have to raise missing cashback claims for both sites and often when they do pay out it's a different amount to when I clicked through the offer. I've started putting the order date, cashback rate and order number etc in a spreadsheet ready for easily raising claims it's got that common. Still it's free money so can't complain too much! :smiley:

I must have missed the point where it says about waiting 24hours, I read quickly through this and then setup my card. Sure that post is a few years old, but if it is inaccurate then they should take it down/update it as it's the top Google result.

I am just going to decide now whether it is worth the effort of buying another of the same TV from them then going to another store and returning it using the first receipt. :man:

How many days does it take to track your purchase?

I bought an ipad air last Thursday, and because of the bank holiday weekend, I thought I would take sometime, but today is Tuesday, and still no sign of the tracking. I haven't opened it yet, in case the cashback isn't being tracked, I really don't want to wait for 14 days and raise a claim. I'm thinking to buy another one, see if it get tracked this time.

My purchase was tracked after 4 calender days.

I gave up, after two separate purchases from Argos (iPad air 2), neither was tracked, returned both. Funny enough, I bought a small box of chocolate from Hotel Chocolate for £6, 6 pence was tracked. I couldn't believed it.
