**The Day One Edition seems to apply only to the PlayStation 4 unfortunately.**
Following the prologue METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES, METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN concludes the METAL GEAR SOLID V experience by following the story of the protagonist of the series, Big Boss (a.k.a. Snake). The METAL GEAR SOLID V experience is Creator and Director Hideo Kojima's first time incorporating open world gameplay to the groundbreaking METAL GEAR franchise.
First dlc of the game which can't be bought on PSN too.

I believe, but don't quote me, you get this...
And a map of the games world. I own the 'standard version'.

You paid 4 times as much if not more. Also you get a box and a gun and something else not worth mentioning.

Although thinking about it, I'm not aware of any other versions of the game. So it must be

There's a bundle copy and a collector edition copy. They're both similar to day one edition but if you're looking to find different versions, that makes it four along with the standard copy.

 I was referring to base game editions. To be fair, the Collector's Edition isn't really similar mate, given it has a Bionic Arm, steel book and a load of other (let's us just say)...stuff with it...

True. I was also referring to the base games mate. I own all of them as well as the bundle copy and collectors edition and my comparison was based on what I had and no I'm not crazy, I'm just in love with MGSV, lol.

I honestly have never seen that particular emoji before in my life, no.

Hot, but if you like metal gear games I can't recommend this. This is not a metal gear game. No long cutscenes, no real story, and i mean, what even is part 2? The gameplay is great and while the world is very big and open, it is mostly just vast desert/jungle. Forced myself to finish it and would never replay it.

The long cutscenes are what made me not play Metal Gear 2, bought my new PS3 n decided play it n took way too long to do anything so played something else instead!!

That's me that is. I'd feel better about the whole thing if I'd actually played it. But nope. Pile of shame.

It's a no-brainer at £20. So much to do you could spend months playing it.

This game suffers from the "nostalgia hype" syndrome. The game itself is quite mediocre in every way. The missions are stale and it moves at the pace of a snail. Just try to finish a mission only to have to run to a safe spot to board a helicopter then to land again. Its also cliche and trite. Ugh. Personal opinion.

Because your average Joe on the street is not paid by the publisher to give good reviews.

It is a great game. Especially for MGS fans but the ending part ruins it which I guess was when Hideo left.

Great game, been playing it a while now and still only 20% into it. Would recommend

I'm so bad at stealth games, I really wanted to like this as well but far too difficult for old run and gun here.
