€399.99 and price is changing due to fluctuating exchange rates but better than UK price. Pretty sure Ireland uses the same UK plugs (as I also imported my PS4 from here too). Delivery is also free.
To get the best price use credit cards that does not attract oversea transaction charges like the Halifax Clarity Card (they only charge what the exchange rate is, i.e. €399.99 to £ on the day they take payment) - http://www.halifax.co.uk/creditcards/clarity-card/
Edit: In response to a member's question: they take money funds a few days before dispatch. I understand the change in exchange rates so this maybe a way around this:
So they will take the money now. I believe when the product/PSVR is cart and you proceed to checkout, you can enter your gift card number under the "Pay with Gift Card" option.
Disclaimer: I have not tried this myself as I prefer to wait to check out the exchange rate, but going by logic this should work. So I guess keep checking the exchange rate and buy using the gift cards when appropriate!
In the box :
PlayStation VR headset
Processor unit
Stereo earbuds
HDMI cable
USB cable
AC adaptor and power cord
PS VR headset connection adaptor
A PS4 Camera is required to use the PSVR

do they take money now? If so that's not ideal..but on other hand who knows what exchange rate will be after the referendum

it is allready out there for the Samsung Gear VR, Sony will need to release a video app that can play your own files, like Milk VR for the gear VR, then you can watch your porn.... but be warned it is very unnerving

Which VR model did you try?
I remember the Oculus DK1 made me feel terrible however the DK2 was much better, I never had any problems with that. Obviously they are improving the devices therefore without going into details that will help people with motion sickness. Although you're correct, I would still advice others to try VR first. Just don't give up hope if you had a bad experience on older hardware.

Oculus Rift is £500 RRP and is very close to the PlayStation VR pricing when all things are taken into account, the difference being with Oculus Rift you get everything you need in the box, Headset,Xbox One controller, sensor and two games.
You get Nothing with the PS VR headset.
Sony are playing crafty game by not including the motion camera it gives people the impression you only need the headset so less clutter and also the price is deceiving.

Hang on a second...
I'm all for each system and am glad there are differences, but to say they are very close on price is extremely misleading. A PS4 can be got for £250 (including a controller), and the camera's RRP is £40, so a VR set up ready to play would be in the region of £250 + £40 + £350 = £640. Where I can get a PC to run Oculus for anywhere near £640 all-in.
The point is, the different VR setups are catering for different buyers. A PC gamer won't be selling a rig to go all in for the PlayStation VR and vice versa, they've already made that fundamental decision on platforms.

And I guessing that Oculus and Vive are PC only. Why can't these units be used on both PC and PS4...
Looking to upgrade PC this year and I already have PS4 with move controllers so I was hoping I can buy 1 VR unit for both. I wonder in the future if some third party company will release an adapter or something that allows you to connect PSVR to a PC similar to PS4/XBOX controllers to a PC?

Lots of various deals worth buying from Ireland due to sterling euro differential,a few months ago i nipped over the border and picked up the Batman Tumbler for £129.00 sterling each.
Problem is when they catch on they tend to put the price up to match UK prices so dont hang around if you see something you want.Heat added.

19 Mar 16#44
Yup, the vast majority of PC owners won't be able to run VR. You'll need a rig somewhere is the £800-£1000 range plus the Oculus or Vive on top. As a PC and PS4 gamer I'd be tempted to go with the PSVR first and then maybe get a PC kit in a couple of years when 4k capable non-SLI rigs are common in order to take advantage of what VR really needs in terms of hardware. There are some pretty big hardware improvements coming later this year.
megaman666
19 Mar 16#45
not to mention that implies you 'recently' spent 800-1k.. 800-1k spent 2 years ago will translate to about 400 quid now if youre lucky, at least console hardware requirements dont change every 6 months.

makes sense going for this if you have a PS4 already. I was looking at oculus rift but you need to spend at least 500 for a PC for it.
Is there any comparisons between this and the rift? which is better

The Rift and Vive have higher resolution displays than the PS VR and higher FOVs. There's other features like with the Vive you can walk around a whole room and it detect walls.
I was tried the htc vive today at a friends office and its mind blowing. Reminded me when I first played half life back in the 90s, it's so good. The portal droid repair demo is the best and you (or your kids) could spend days in the Google paint game.

I don't think it's up for debate that if you already have a meaty desktop running ideally a 980 then then another £500-£600 will give you a better VR experience than this will. However, if you haven't already got that (and even the most powerful £3000 laptop won't run decent VR) then this is much better bang for your buck.
Incidentally, the PSVR has good refresh rates so while the image will be worse, it might be a more fluid experience than some PC VR. The VIVE also needs a dedicated 2x2m space cleared for your gameplay area, which is not a small issue.
