Because it's more than a pound in other places. And in this case, not an ever present product in Poundworld.

instead of multiple threads, why don't we have one thread listing what is a pound in poundland?

That would just say 'Poundland- everything a pound'

didn't you just answer your own question though?!
these are £2.29 in the 'Nisa' beside me, so £1 is indeed a hot deal

If this was true then there would be no Poundland/World posts at all

Agreed, these are on "offer" at £1 SO much I would personally not call it a deal at all. More that the standard price is just a complete rip off.

Strange! I checked online last night and again today and eight flavours are currently available in Tesco for £1 until 5/4/16
(Iceland now showing £2 online for these)

I disagree, they are usually the equivalent of £1 per tube but you end up being forced into buying 2 or 3 tubes to get the offer price
2 for £2 or 3 for £3 etc...
£1 for 1 tube is a good deal.

From the pic they look like they have the Google movie codes on them so you can get a free film if you buy 2 tins.

But it's a pound, you would expect things to be a pound...

Are any of these the Now tv pass ones?

Probably less crisps in them like the milk they sell

Check the details in poundworld. Short dated and only a few flavours. Also when it's gone it's gone. Normally ex export stock that the manufacturers can't sell

That would only be relevant if they stocked everything under the sun.
By your reckoning a solid gold watch for £1 in Poundland wouldn't be a deal because everything they sell is a pound?

Yeah, it's logical. That is exactly my reckoning. These shops only get what they can at the right price to sell for a quid, therefore it doesn't matter what they stock, it will always be a pound
