seriously? I'm all for wheeling and dealing but come on, 3 shops for £2 profit with a chance CEX may have 'spent enough on trades this week, try again next Monday' or 'sorry we don't have enough cash in the till'

Was in Chester Game today - they had these both at £19.99, buy one get one half price. 2 newish / decent titles for £30 ain't bad

You guys do realise you can ask for another game case don't you? Even if it's the only copy of that game, they'll put the cover art into another case if you ask.

Some people care, most don't. Personally I look after my things and don't like buying things that look like a caveman had his way with it.

RBS Visa debit card, I though banks stopped putting the sort code and account no. on cards years ago.

What bank are you with? I have 4 different bank cards all with the same layout.

you mean my sort code and account number? as a matter of fact they aren't actually.

I agree. Especially when it comes to re sale. I'd never buy a second hand game if the case was battered. Suppose were the minority!

You do know your bank details are on the front of your bank debit card, right?

so if I'm ever in the situation where I fancy making £2 profit from a convoluted situation I'll make sure I'm also carrying my bank details with me.

not me and I'd bet many others wouldn't care less if the corners a bit scuffed. it's a case. it stays in a cupboard most of its life.

Just ask for a BACS payment in that situation.

Have to agree, its not worth the chance of some spotty kid letting his face juice automatically explode near yours is it. And cex, come on, the queues un there are massive, especially when someone is trying to flog a 10 yr old "flattish" tv in a binbag.
But then again, £2 is £2
Seriously dont do it, the price will change or something will go wrong, take it from me, someone who knows the trade game is dead

I have Fallout 4 including a code for Fallout 3 for XB1.
Anyone want to swap for Star Wars Battlefront?

The price of star wars does not surprise me at all. My local CEX literally has 2 stacked out rows of shelves full of it. Fallout however I will pick up on my way home! Great price!

In my case, CEX and Game aren't 1 minute away from each other, its a free 2 quid and can teach kids how to play the system ^_^

Some people like that new game freshness and smell. Plus on my wandering around lakeside last week I popped into a Game store and their pre-owned game cases were battered. Game case quality is important to myself and i'm sure it is to others out there.

Hot deal.
You could buy one of these for £20 then trade it in for The Divison + £10 (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/tom-clancy-s-division-ps4-xbox-one-when-trading-a-selected-game-smyths-toys-9-99-2411129) so The Division for £30 or you could then sell The Division for £32 cash at CEX.

£44.99 in store NEW and £19.99 Pre-owned. Please amend the title as a little misleading.

According to the stock checker thing on their site it is the pre-owned price not the new in store.
BuzzDuraband

The question was wether they were new or preowned, the reference was to preowned. Could you clarify that the in-store offer is pre-owned?

However hasn't been that price in-store for the past week! Has been £32.99
