Got this yesterday, good offer. Gave pizza guy a 50p tip, which was basically all the coins I had at the time, he was ecstatic and said I'm obviously not British because they never tip. I know this is hotUKdeals, but their wages are terrible, especially considering they have to fight the elements outside to bring you your pizza, and if this can help them in a very real way. I know this message might upset a few people but I have my flameproof vest on.

Thing that annoys me having neither a dominoes or pizza hut that will deliver to my address is that if I drive and collect it I still pay the same price as someone who gets it delivered.

Sure there are a few collection only deals but they are for like single pizzas on their own and they knock like £1 off the price

So true. I ventured into McDonald's last week as I had 30mins to kill between meetings and it was that or subway... Needless to say I ended up perching next to an ENTIRE family, kids, parents, grandparents, who were having some big argument. Ended up with them moaning their food was cold and kicking off because they had been arguing instead of eating...

Your driving to the supermarket and cooking it yourself.

obviously a facetious post, but prefixing it as such demarcates between statement of fact and personal opinion, which is a significant distinction.

Unfortunately, if we apply that rationale, we open up a whole other can of worms, since we're then to assume that everything everybody says is a statement of fact if it's not prefixed with it. It would also be very boring to read if everybody started every statement with 'in my opinion', so much so that the phrase would soon become redundant, then it would fall out of use, which would then bring us full circle.:smile:

Not being smug or anything, as I do eat Domino's when I'm away from home... but if you are at home and don't want to eat pizza NOW:

* When you go to the supermarket, get a cheap, basic pizza
* put any extra toppings you love. In my case, I really like a lot of onions, peppers, extra cheese, extra oregano ... and you might dislike this: some curry powder sprinkled on top (yum!)
* oven time
* Enjoy your creation!!

I do think the pizza from most chains (Domino, Papa Johns, etc) look and taste a bit like cardboard. Which is fine if you're on the go, or really don't fancy cooking.

What are your favourite topping on pizza? Share your recipes! Do you like pineapple on them? (yuk!)
