Bought this TV at 5.30pm after seeing this offer, collected at 5.40pm - now it's set up and it's brilliant. No issues with the HDMI being picked up automatically as some reviews suggest. Recommended.

Think he would return the newer one with old receipt.
TBH, should try talking to them to match price, if they cannot refund difference just pop in the store with old receipt when new one is ready for collection, return right away with old receipt.

Remember to get the best from your new 4k TV, You will need to always sit 2 to 3 feet away from it, so you can notice the difference in pixel density, otherwise its just a waste of money. It will just look the same as your 1080p television at anything more then 3 feet away!.
Next time your in an electrical shop look at all the customers looking at these TVs they are all nose to nose with the screen tying to see any difference! These things are pointless for most home users.

b and m. but don't go by screen size, get the right bracket fitment, the bracket for up to 39 that they sell is comfortably holding up my 50 inch screen

Had a 49 took it back it was terrible, poor sound and wouldnt always turn on so had to switch off at plug AVOID. One of the ones someone gets will be the one I took back to Argos

The TV looks awesome when it comes out of the box! The color is great, ambilight is magnificent , and quality is of a very high standard. HOWEVER, the menu and smart setting always lag and the control panel is not smooth as you navigate to the various options. You need to give the tv 30seconds to turn on and settle before trying to change channels or the picture will freeze and you will have to restart the TV in order to get it working again. Very strange, have I been sold a faulty one???
