Yes I have to wear my glasses to read the text. I use one of the huge watch faces so at least I can see the time easily without glasses.
I have my iphone on speaker phone by defaut, so its great being able to answer the phone with the pebble.
I use the audio controls mainly, for things like podcasts and music.
I just ordered the Pebble time 2 which has a much bigger screen.

hah .. just noticed this and thought "Wow! Better post that on HUKD!"
I've had mine for a while now and love it. i've been tempted to upgrade to the apple watch but have resisted so far because i think the pebble works better for me than that ever would.

Always a sucker for hot uk tips i just got one of these. Via flubit so 82 quid sent from Amazon very quickly. But i find it very hard to read. My eyes are maybe not as good as they were but i question how useful this will actually be with its poor display. Still enjoying playing with it anyway.

Gave in and bought one a few days ago. Love it. Not as cheap feeling as people make it.
I'm using it with an iPhone and although I believe you can do more with an Android phone it works perfectly for me, battery seems to last 4-5 days.

Just bought a pebble classic as they are only £50 and so far not worked out how best to use it. Tried sleep tracking with Sleep As Android but graph shows watch packed up at 3AM maybe it can't take the battery hit. Day 2, charging it up real good and see what happens!

I think this is the beginning of the end for pebble. I had the classic, kick-start edition. Lived it, first significant smartwatch which I'd say confirmed for the big players that there was a marker for it. Upgraded last year to the LG G Watch R, as I was left disappointed by the new pebbles. I wouldn't put this on my 5 year old nice because it looks too childish for her. I hope they bring out another real innovative, smart looking product, but I think they peaked at the pebble steel and don't think they can compete with the big players now. Will go down as one of the best gadgets I ever bought though

I love my pebble classic. Its never off my wrist, even in the bath.
I like to have my iphone always on speaker phone so I can answer with my watch.
I control starting and stopping podcast and music with it.
Reading texts messages when your hands are covered in flour or garden dirt is simple and avoids mucking up your phone.
When I lose my phone I track it down with my watch.
Couple of hours charging once a weekend and always good to go.
cheap as chips

Apparently the sw3 has two days battery life, is that with the screen always on/showing the time?

Thanks for posting this. I just ordered one. (people are buying them second hand on eBay for this price)

Bought one of these a week ago for 90, pretty neat piece of kit, and the short charge time/long battery length makes it quite good for purpose.
