such a shame that the honest veg is sooo expensive here in uk and that it's cheaper to eat junk food than proper real food.
I remember buying potatoes while living briefly in eastern europe for 0.15eur/kg all year long in any shop..
carrots 0.20-0.25eur/kg all year long as well , cabbage was like 0.10eur/kg on some special price.
Sardines for 0.50eur/kg!
Plenty of land for everyone and you didn't had to buy apples/plums/all kind of berries in store you could just go pick them from your own trees you had in yard, and everyone there had a yard with fruit trees.
at least props to aldi/lidl for doing these weekly veg promos

Shopped for veg at both stores numerous times. Aldi simply not comparable. Short shelf life, hence they don't provide Use by/BBE dates which I find inexcusable and only for their benefit not ours.
This is a fantastic deal from Morrisons. Never seen 1.5kg of good quality British potatoes @ 21.3p per kilo at any supermarket.
Morrisons are absolutely killing it in the price wars right now - kudos to them. A full assortment, along with top quality services such as fresh fishmonger, bakery, deli, butchers, salad bar, pizza counter. Try getting Aldi to trim your steak, fillet your salmon or even slice your bread - you pays your money and makes your choice.

I don't care if the prize has been like that for ages. It's healthy and honest food. Heat from me.

Heat to OP...I know aldi/lidl are consistently cheaper but their quality is sometimes iffy and if you take anything back (as I did when I bought steak which was off) they are reluctant to give refund or replacement...........so good on Morrisons

I'm still buying dishonest veg. works ok for me.

Also I'm pretty sure when I bought carrots and other veg in Aldi it wasn't 32p more like 45p so 10 years at 32p seems a pretty bold (read b**sh*t) statement

Good price but did the farmer make any profit growing and picking them?

Actually, things are often 29p, so cheaper in fact. What retort do you have now...?

All I know is I've paid more in Aldi so a 10 year claim seems utterly ridiculous. Also while writing I have to say Morrisons do some of the best fruit and veg. Great layout, range and some decent prices and quality on most of it. Unlike the german supermarkets you get dates on the packets too which helps you gauge how long you have to use the fruit and veg. Our local Aldi closed but do use Lidl for fruit and veg and they have some keen prices but quality is poor generally although perfectly acceptable for most fruit and veg. Their processed foods are pretty awful overall though and as for the shopping experience you feel like your only one step away from foraging in dustbins.

I have no idea what is a year old. Come on, at least go down fighting - it's clear to see you address none of the points as they are FACTS.
