This may be local or nationwide but in my Currys in Chelmsford the NOW TV rep is selling boxes 2 for £20 with passes. You can have 3 months entertainment and 2 months movies or get 2 packs the same.
3 months entertainment = £20.97
2 months movies = £19.98
Any combination of the two will be worth about £40 so saving around £20 and you get 2 new Now TV boxes too.
These are the newer boxes too which can connect by WiFi or ethernet, and have USB and SD card connections as well.
I imagine you could eBay or boot sale the boxes for a few quid as well. That's what I intend to do as I've already got 3.
Check your local Currys as I didn't ask if this was nationwide or not.

its not a valid deal as Curry's only sell it at £10 when purchased with a TV. I can confirm stores have been briefed not to sell at 2 for £20 unless when purchased with a TV. Reps push this deal as they earn commission.

I really don't understand Sky's budgeting strategy. Why is it cheaper to buy multiple Now TV boxes with subscriptions included, than to buy a subscription with your existing Now TV box? They must be haemorrhaging money this way.

It's getting the boxes out there and not everyone is savvy enough to realise you can just keep buying these packs.

Be aware though the SD card is only for saving apps if you run out of internal space which is unlikely as the app selection is limited. Also while you can plug in a USB device there is not a USB player app on the device or in the store.

Why would you only buy 3 month ent and 2 month movies? Is the offer on the 4 month movies or is the title wrong?

as regards the usb port - you can enter 'developer mode' and put a usb app on it which will play some file types such as MP4. Won't play .mkv though. A quick Google will find loads of sites showing how to do this.

Odd one this - two ways to look at it. Hot if you need the boxes, cold if you just want the passes as you can get 6 month entertainment passes at Tesco, with box for £19. I'm voting hot for this as £20 for 2 bits of good tech for starters is a good deal.

I've just added a 6 month pass code last night. Can you stack new codes on top to extend it?

Definitely can apply a voucher if you are within one month of your renewal.
Mine renews on 2nd May, and it's now offering me the option to apply a voucher despite having 30 days to run on the current voucher.

How come they never sell these with sports subscriptions ? We're not all movie fans
Yep..i`ve just been to currys..very confusing as both staff and printed price info is incorrect....the now tv box with the 3 month entertainment pass went through check out £10 each....even cashier looked suprised...initially i picked up boxes with sports passes, price on box was more expensive at the till so they went back on shelf.!

Thanks OP - I picked up a Movie Box for £10 and an Entertainment Box for £10 earlier in the week from the Shirley store.
I found a sales assistant and enquired about (the above) offer, he told me that the offer is available when you buy a TV but his colleague intervened and said he can put them through on their own and so he did!
