So I got my MXS order on Friday.. the phone looked in very good condition apart from a couple of little scratches on the metal.. the screen was mint.. and everything else seems in order.. but definitely used..
Phone came with original box and all the accessories and a bumper case.. but weirdly all the serial info was covered with blank stickers on the box!
Anyway I complained to Amazon that I bought a "mark free" one and received one with marks (TBH.. not sure if I caused the marks using the crappy included bumper.. as I don't remember seeing those marks initially).. Amazon instantly offered me 15% refund.. with all the Amazon warranties still intact..
So at £176 for a very good condition MXS with Amazon CS.. sounds like a keeper to me especially as my Android toy/backup!
Fingers crossed the actual phone internally is sound.. will test it out properly this week!
Yeah I couldn't find out if it is or isn't for UK as well so talked to Motorola customer support, who at the UK site are absolutely awful btw, and they told me US only and even that was soon to be stopped. I think they were only starting their UK site when the sale happened so this is why we never got the offer running.

Good point on the phone offer......
Knew I had read about Free Screen Replacement, didnt realise it was just for our American friends.

Not unfortunately that offer is yet another thing our American friends get and we don't. It is a US only offer and is another remnant of the Google era, I believe they have cut down on it shortly after being sold to Lenovo.
About the phone you probably should make a sales topic or contact him in the pm. This way you risk the wrath of the mods.

This phone is far more attractive than 5x and it being used probably has nothing to do with how it looks.

Considering Motorola have quoted me £140 to replace the cracked screen on my Moto X 2nd Gen, this might be a better option .. I guess I should go research how much screen replacements for this cost.
Depends what u like in a phone most. This being second hand it's not as attractive as a new 5X for the same price

Bought one for £230 couple weeks back. Was listed as minor cosmetic damage, some light scratches. Phone was actually brand new..

I have this. Actually prefer it to the Nexus 6p. Moto display is great as is the front facing flash. Speakers are the best I've heard on a phone and the photos are great too. Really rate it

Thats a moto g at £25 you linked, the moto x XT1092 is between £70-£90 and usually comes from china, its less appealing considering work involved in fitting it as well. Its a little better option than just getting Motorola to do it but only a little, hence why I have been using the cracked screen for 6 months until I just buy a new phone lol, cheers for looking though
thinking of upgrading from my moto x play which is still in the return window with Amazon. would I notice a difference for most things or not worth the hassle?

Worse battery life than the Play I think, don't quote me on that though

Not worth it IMHO. Battery life much better

I don't need it and have no confidence about what I'll receive, but i've ordered one to keep in the glove box of my car just in case.

Think all the others are scratched, according to the descriptions. Good price if you can cope with the scratches (I can't!). Heat added.

Thanks OP, was about to pull the trigger on a Nexus 5X then this pops up, purchased immediately and heat given.
Followed @deshepherd advice and went through the list to find one that was only listed as having damaged original packaging, no scratches on the phone.
Let's see what arrives, assuming these are mostly returns when people see just how gigantic a 5.7" Motorola is.

check the descriptions ... all say may come in damaged or different packaging (think this is standard for warehouse deals to cover all possibilities) but some also detail small scratches on side of front ... so best to choose one that doesn't say it's scratched! I've bought some stuff from warehouse deals before and seemed clear that it was just a box that had been damaged with product inside still with all original cellophane etc

It was £190 this morning.
Almost bought it but don't need it.
So I didn't.
Which is unlike me.

Had one in the past. Good software, great speakers but rubbish battery life and no so good camera (slow autofocus).
Great price though and amazon cs is brilliant.

Price looks good but i am wary of what I will receive.. ordered anyway.. its Amazon CS so worth a try for a backup phone!
Opening post
I have no idea why there are so cheep. Been around the £270 mark for ages.
I have purchased quite a few things from amazon warehouse before and most of the time it's just the packaging that is damaged.
Decent review here.....

Failing that, you can have my mint 32GB one for the same as a replacement screen
Good luck.
