Obviously not however I was not taking a dig at your post I was just commenting that it is now the same price on amazon for people that are interested. Maybe people have vouchers they would like to use and are not interested in customizing either way heat from me

moto maker is a feature on motorolo site that allows you to customise your phones back colours plus accents at no additional cost. All authentic motorolo parts, i believe that buying from other retailers Amazon etc you don't get these options to fully customise phone.

Hi, do you know if the Tesco one is locked to Tesco and if so if it is easy to unlock? I've never unlocked a phone before and since this phone would not be for me am worried about any negatives to unlocking. Thanks.
Ps. Do you know if giftcard is for groceries or Direct? It doesn't say.

This also gives you £50 off the Moto X Style. But that's still not a good a deal as their recent 15% off.

Really good value and quality for the money. Still using my 8gb 1 gig ram version. No need to upgrade just yet.

How do you get the two codes working together? Only Easter16 seems to work for me.
Also anyone know if you can add student discount on top of all this?

Just done this, Quidco tracked at £7.22, ordered on the 17/03 and received the phone on 21/03, outstanding delivery times I thought.
Quality phone too, no lag at all.

Thanks OP. Was looking at this phone today since my G3 just failed. Can't be bothered with overpriced delicate crap anymore. My wife has the 8gb model and it's fantastic.Voted Hot.

Also, if you order via the Motorola website but customise for only 8GB then can you still use both codes to get it down to around £120? Thank you

Ok just tried it and seems it takes it down to £119. I suppose Tesco's is still better value though.

The Moto G and E we bought from Tesco were locked, but easily unlocked via the world famous auction site for a couple of quid. There is nothing wrong with unlocking the device, but some retailers say you void the warranty when unlocking. Just don't tell them you have if you have to take it back
Can't help RE the voucher though!

It'll be locked to Tescos network but easy to get an unlock on eBay for under £2. No negatives! Except if you return your phone. You've lost your £2
No idea about the gift card I'm afraid

Thanks. We went with Motorola website in the end. Dad was still scared about unlocking :stuck_out_tongue: but we got it in custom colours, and Quidco and no needing to remember to use Tesco voucher online (no shop in my city).
