Its been this price on and off for a while, along with the original Secret Of Monkey Island (unfortunately thats not as cheap right now). For those that don't already have this - get it. For those of us that had Amiga's, ST's and PC's back in the day...you know what its all about.
The deal can be got on the Xbox website or via the Store on the Xbox console.
Kiss me, I've got scurvy.

My favourite of the Monkey Island games.
My favourite computer game of my whole life.
Had this ever since it was released for Xbox but at this price I feel like giving them another £1.68.
Worth playing again even if you've completed it 100 times (try it with the commentary feature on).

Cracking deal.
Think this will make it the 4th time I've owned this game in various guises.
I've got to say, as much as I loved the ST, the Amiga 1200 was the mutts. Lost so much of my life to the likes of Sensi/SWOS, Civ 2, Champ Manager 93/94, Geoff Grammond's Formula 1 Grand Prix, PGA Golf....etc (not to mention Monkey Island 1, 2 and Indy and the Fate of Atlantis)

It's Backwards Compatible, buy it on 360 and it works on XB1, once purchased will appear in your Games Library.

The same purchase can be used on both consoles. The game is natively an Xbox 360 release, so it will always show as such, but after purchase it should also show up in your "ready to install" list on Xbox One.

I was tempted for the 16-bit era memories but always struggle to actually find the time now to play these games. Besides it was always best on the Atari ST :stuck_out_tongue: , which is where i will leave it.

Well, until last week it's not been possible to buy Xbox 360 games from an Xbox One *at all* - so this is at least an improvement to some extent. From the website, there's never been any access to account credit for Xbox 360 purchases.

25 Mar 161#10
I'd rather hoped that being able to buy Xbox 360 games via the Xbox One would have allowed us to use account credit against them - but sadly not, payment still needs to go against a credit/debit card.

Even when buying them of the website and not the console? Has it always been this way for 360 games?

Certainly it doesn't seem logical, but that's just how the web store is set up, unfortunately.

You can't buy Xbox 360 games with account credit unless you're using an Xbox 360 console.

For £1.68, this'll complement my purchase of the original Secret of Monkey Island SE from a few months ago, when that was on sale.
the monkey islands were some of my favourite games from my childhood. The remasters were so great. The ability to switch between old graphics and new was a great addition. I don't have an xbox But major heat for the price, because it's an absolute steal and both, Gold and Standard price.
I may have to purchase it for PC now I've seen this.
