I doubt it was never going to be more than that video anyway, looked like a little vanity project without any desire to make it into an actual game.

For anyone who is interested in the events after mgs2, and the last true metal gear game, this is an absolute bargain.

Reason I say last true mgs because, well, let's be honest, mgs v lacked all the magic of an mgs game.

TPP was an absolute masterpiece. Kojima's work has always been great.

I never doubted his work but V was...unfinished. And the story was delivered in drips and drabs. That said, I can't wait to see what he does next. Damn shame Silent Hills was cancelled.

Just a warning for anyone who cares about this stuff, I ordered this over the weekend and received the normal box but the platinum version of the disc. Not going to complain for £2 but it's worth noting I think.

the game was fantastic. but mgs3 made marginally more sense to me... not that i know what's going on with any of the stories

First game I played on PS3! Ah the nostalgia!

Solid cutscenes and gameplay, some of the best, still visually stunning as it was when it released. Complete steal at this price, every PS3 owner needs to play this game. Enjoyed it a bit more than the original MGS which is one of the best games on the PS1 without a doubt.
