Was looking at hotel rates in London and trivago's best price for Melia White House was £111 standard room (and £158 premium room), I had a look direct and on the Melia site and if you sign upto the free rewards program, the prices are £94 or £118, plus go via quidco for 7%
Seems to be a 30pc discount on all standard dates for prepaid bookings

They also email a 10% discount code on your birthday (which could be "soon". ) that can be used on your next trip. And can be used even if you cancel your existing booking and book again.

Sure that's not account specific? Where do you find it? Because if I log in to Melia rewards and go to My Promotions I only have a $30 off code.

Ive just had 3 x 20% off codes for my birthday gift, although I have been a member for a number of years and have a gold card, which might bump it up

My bad, I misunderstood - I thought it was for all Melia hotels. Seems it only pops up for the London one.

Yeah I think it does increase with more spends and years you've been a member - But the first one, if you've only one booking, is 10% - That's what I got a couple of weeks ago, was sorting a stag do to Benidorm and booked one of their hotels, week later it was my birthday and they sent me a 10% off code, so I cancelled my existing booking and booked again, but this time used the code and sorted a £25 saving for everyone. Not a massive amount, but it'll do. I also used my 2000 free Melia reward points.
