No - it seems Makita have 3 radios in this style at the moment - DMR102, DMR104, DMR106.
DMR104 is the DAB version of this one, and comes in much more expensive.
DMR106 is the new version - bigger speakers (by 10mm) USB charger on the front and Bluetooth. But no DAB.
So, as the best one doesn't have DAB, I decided to go with the cheapest
I expect they will make a DMR108 which will be as the 106, but with DAB in the future - this will do in the meantime, for considerably less cash!

£70 for a robust FM radio? Doesn't even include any of the recommended powertool batteries, so not even able to use outdoors without an additional purchase or borrowing from another powertool? Even then, with the highest powered battery, maximum 2x3.5w?!
No wonder it's discounted from it's supposed £182.40 original price!

Just landed, so free delivery took much less that 24 hours. Already tested it while cleaning some stuff up in the garden - sounds great, nice bass, even outside!

These are not the loudest radios out there on site but they do have the best sound, a nice deep bass and clean top end.

Have to agree. The workman who was refurbishing my property last year had one of these, the sound was amazing and easily better than the Pure radio I had in my kitchen (which cost a bit more!). Apparently he had gotten it free with a Makita tools promotion. If only they did a consumer version....
