Mike Singleton's '84 classic Adventure Strategy game, brought to and updated for Android. "The Lords of Midnight is not simply an adventure game nor simply a war game. It was really a new type that became known as an epic game, for as you play the Lords of Midnight you will be writing a new chapter in the history of the peoples of the Free.
You will guide individual characters across the land of Midnight on vital quests but you will also command armies that must endeavour to hold back the foul hordes of Doomdark, the witch king. Yours will be no inevitable victory." - Mike Singleton 1984
This was developed with 48k...48k! PS4/XB1 developers today, take note. Wii U 'underpowered' trolls/hacks, take note. A game is as good as the developer and NOT the hardware.

Is that the marmalade SDK ( formally airplay ) ? I used to use that and remember a write up on this, though I'm old enough to have played in in 84 lol

Took a week of skiving off school to finally beat this for me on the Speccy.

I wonder if Mike Singleton's estate get any royalties from this?
Both of these classic games are free on the Amazon Underground App store.

I'm sure I had this on the Atari ST, can't find any evidence that it was officially released on that format though.

Marvelous game heat added, well worth a quid for retro reminiscing.

Alternatively, download a spectrum emulator for free and then download the game roms for free.

True classics of the 8 bit era. Seen to recall Mike Singleton saying he literally had bytes to spare trying to fit this one into the 48k Sinclair Spectrum. Wonder what he could have produced on modern machines had he still been with us?

p.s. It uses the multi-platforms tech developed by my company.
p.p.s. Good blog on how much the game actually makes, and the piracy rate.
