Basic keyboard and mouse combo. Not really the best performance in class. What they lack in performance they make up in price and that all important JL 3 year warranty on electricals. Amazon have it at the same price. Now you will note that there is a delivery charge. Here is the deal buy 2 click and collect free and when you go and collect the item return one free of charge basically free C&C.. It's the long way round save £2 but that's a McD coupon meal right there ( Big Mac and small chips).

I thought JL only offered a two year, not three year, guarantee on their electrical goods?

That's right I assume the same 2 year warranty but this one has a 3 year warranty.

Amazon have it at the same price without the free C&C trick and 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

Curry's will price match. The mouse is a bit dinky.
Heat for the price but I have this set and wouldn't recommend them. The feet to adjust the keyboard height are flimsy at best, and I've had issues with the mouse becoming unresponsive too which seems to be an issue with the battery contacts (although this mouse issue might not be so common).
This probably doesnt have the unifying receiver - which some logitech fans might be keen to have. Good deal though. Fantastic keyboard!

Waiting for a deal on the MK800 combo.
The k800 illuminated keyboard and MX Performance Mouse.
£99 is still a bit steep for me.
Good price on this set tho. Heat.

So the keyboard with the MK270 set is not the same as the K270 keyboard? I've only ever used the K270 - which is rather good!

I have this set, it's brilliant. Going strong years later, too.

I've had this set for a good few years. No issues with the mouse at all. Precision is fine. I like the keyboard too. Used for my media centre so gets thrown about, still looks new.

I am confused.
I have an MK270 bundle that has a tiny unifying receiver and a K270 keyboard, have had them for about 3-4 years now.

I am confused too now.
Have they changed MK270 now?
Last time I had, its keyboard even looks different to K270. It function keys on top in grey, not in black. It had Nano receiver, not Unifying receiver. The two types receiver looks similar, but you can tell from the unifying icon.
Tomorrow, I will find out, I am using someone else computer at work which is using MK270.
MK270's mouse model is M185.

Hot! I have this keyboard & I love it! I use the anywhere mouse so can't comment on the mouse tho.

I bought an MK270 pack a few years back. The keyboard says K270 on the back, is identical to a K270 sold separately. Decent wireless build. Mouse went a bit wonky, although I am putting that down to two years of repeatedly being dropped, tripped over, and generally abused.

The Keyboard with my MK270 set is also the K270 (mouse is M185). Wireless has been rock solid on my set too, although my mouse requires a tap on the desk every now and then when it stops working and as I mentioned earlier the feet to tilt the keyboard broke very quickly.

What is your mouse doing on the floor? lol

I was wrong.
Just check my purchase history in 2010, I had MK260, not MK270. Therefore, I deleted all my post which contain wrong information.
As others said, MK270 comes with K270 which is very good. The mouse M185 is not good. I purchased 20 M185 for office in the past, really regreted the purchase.
The set MK270 is a good price.
It is weird that MK270 is cheaper than buying K270 individually.
I am kicking myself now, that I have always bought K270 by itself.

Could anyone confirm if MK270 comes with unifying receiver?
Unifying receiver has a little star logo on it.

My MK270 bundle from 3-4 years ago has the unifying star logo on it, but I have read that not all versions do

Thank you.
Unifying receiver is much better than nano receiver. Control up to 6 devices.

Hot for a price of this deal but in my and others opinion K800 is far better choice. Quality and quiet keyboard plus illumination. You can buy them from 45-50 on eBay etc.

How does that even compare? Price is not even comparable & not everyone wants an illuminated keyboard.

I got this bundle with a second hand PC I bought at Xmas. Don't usually use wireless but one thing I have a problem with is the mouse and keyboard seems to go to sleep very quickly so if I start typing it may not register the first keypress, same with the mouse, I may have to move it and shake it about to get it to kick in.
Can be very annoying at times but other than that they are both comfortable to use although the mouse has been throw 3 batteries in a little over 2 months.

Well then you have been sold a faulty one... I have owned my keyboard since new for 2 years & never ever had a problem & I have only needed to change the batteries once.
