Popped into Torquay Currys PC World this afternoon to see about one of those G510S keyboards. No luck but did come away with one of these at £24.97.
Currently £68 at Amazon. Were £34.99 with a free mousemat couple months back. £25 has to be a bargain. No idea about stock at other stores and Torquay had nothing else.

Doesn't appear to be national. Just tried my nearest Curry's and PC World regular price in the both.
Great deal if you can get it though.

I have one of these, it's actually a really nice mouse. Even with all it's pointy bits. Unlocking the mouse wheel and scrolling away with it is super-satisfying. It's my new favourite feature.

Better than an MX518? I think the scroll wheel is finally dying on my one of those after what must be nearly a decade.

No idea, my previous mouse was their white MMO mouse, the 600 I think. I hated it.
The mouse wheel on this is pretty solid and weighty, so I don't think it's going to die anytime soon I think. Given how long I tend to keep and use my mice I prefer metal/platic wheels I think. I had an MS mouse once and the wheels gone all yellow and sticky because the rubber's started to rot.

Just a heads up, this might be the older model which is blue only. The new version has RGB lighting because gamers. A great mouse either way.

this is the proteus core, the rgb is proteus spectrum.
everyone who's told its original price in currys is being quoted the spectrum price

absolutely national. spoke to customer services, this is £24.97 in any store that has it. It's gone off the website. There are 2 different versions of this mouse.
Logitech G502 Proteus Core, blue light, gone from the Currys website, at £24.97 in any store that has any left (none near me). Product code: 131197 Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum, RGB light, £69.99 on website, probably same in store. product code: 160343
edit: you need to quote the product code as it's an end of line item and won't show up for staff under a name search.

Curry sauce/PCW have been clearance selling lots of gaming items - I got a Corsair K70 RGB keyboard for £59.97 on Tuesday (other stores had them but they went to £79.97 on Wednesday), they also had the Corsair Sabre RGB mouse for £19.97 and Corsair M65 RGB for £24.97 as well as some Samsung CCTV Wi-Fi USB adapters for £4.97 (the CCTV bit isn't that useful but they work as branded Wi-Fi sticks in desktops and laptops).

Just speaking up although a bit late
i used the 518 for 6 years without a problem, was the perfect mouse
And i adjusted into this mouse instantly. i thought the different shape and thumb position might be an issue but you will be totally fine. i would recommend it whole heartedly to get the 502!

Swear I've had mine even longer it's solid as a rock. So thanks for this advice and thanks to Pyrii too. I'll check my local PC World and hope for the best.

Superb. I got this mouse last year. It's fantastic. I used to be a claw-type mouse user, but find myself more palm-on with this. Took a little adjustment as claw grip get painful. Very happy now. Definitely go get it at this price if near you.

To be fair, my local store isn't that big.
They had a corsair mouse on sale too, but it was the M30 version.
I suspect that Logitech are upgrading the line , and this is to clear the remaining stock.
I got one of these a while a go, paid full price as well! I used it once and didn't like it so went back to my Roccat Kone XTD. I do keep meaning to give it another go actually.

I got it for £35 including the mouse mat which cost around itself £20-35. Though I am interested on getting another one but I need to know if it is national or not

I prefer the older Logitech mice, my brothers g5 is better then this imo I bought this as a back up but I think the feel is way too smooth and the shape isn't great either there is no support on the right side of your hand but there's a rest for your thumb when it needs to be the other way around.

Excellent price I must admit but I personally found this mouse a bit frustrating. I bought when it was on offer with the mouse mat. Since starting to use it my mouse has never felt smooth in counter strike and recently it has started to randomly stop moving. May be a software issue but I have just sent it back to Amazon and gone back to my cheapy old mouse.
