I bought one of these for my son last week, assembly was a much bigger job than I expected, it took me just over an hour.
The instructions seemed like a low quality black and white photocopy, making it difficult to identify parts and their correct orientation.
To do a proper job I needed a cordless drill for pilot holes, a philips screw driver, and rubber mallet. I also used soapy water to help join the roof sections (they where extremely tight to fit) . For some parts of the assembly a second pair of hands would be helpful too.
If your not a DIY fan (or don't know one) I suggest this might not be for you.
This is still a bargain though, and it's great fun now assembled. :smile:

I got one of these for my nephew who absolutely loves it! I also got him a personalised number plate from Ebay and so he asks if they can go shopping in his car!! I watched the videos on youtube to put it together and found it easier than trying to use the instructions. Good find.

Funny that, we had one in our garage from an old Tesco deal. Decided to build it last weekend and I have the same feelings as you. Thought it was going to be a quick job and thought I would let the kids watch....all I got was is it ready yet...is it ready yet!

Arrived yesterday and built up today. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, although I was left with a spare axle cap and a spare plastic washer. Double checked and the instructions only call for 6 axle caps and four washers so no idea why they're included.
