Good price & cheaper than physical (I think, around £15?)
Story mode isn't as good as 1 & 2 but it does include all costumes, stickers, tools and multiplayer levels from previous games as well as new ones.

It's eight quid. You'll never have to swap discs and load times will be faster.
If you actually want to play the game this is a no-brainer.

That used to be true but since they unified the PS+ line-up across all regions it isn't, because different regions have different sales and not having any game eligible for PS+ that appeared on sale in any region would be too limiting.

It depends on the users' home broadband speed. Some people stick to consoles (and physical media) due to the large download sizes associated with newer games.
I say 'stick to consoles' as even physical PC games now are coming with hefty downloads once activated on Steam/Origin etc.

This would be a great choice for PS+; silencing the 'we want AAA' crowd for a couple of months, refreshing the creator community and making Sony a mint on DLC packs that they wouldn't have otherwise sold. But the fact that it hasn't already happened means it probably never will

Absolute ****. Its funny how people say don't expect AAA every month when thats exactly what happened with PS3 before PS4 released. You would get games like Uncharted 3, Bioshock infinite and Red Dead Redemption for crying out load. Now we get awful 2D pixel indie games that i wouldn't play free on my mobile phone let alone console. I don't see it how anyone should be thankful for getting trash every month and you might see it as 3 quid a month but Sony are getting a lot of money so they should throw a bone every now and again and theres plenty of old games they could give that aren't selling yet they are being stubborn and stingy.

Probably just me here but I always think games like this (infinite possibilities) are best suited to the HDD as opposed to disk swapping, same with Minecraft. Just randoms you can fire up without rushing to "trade it in" because you'll probably never need to. That's just me though.

The Ps4 makes you install the game onto your console regardless of whether you have a disk or not. The game will always be in the system but the disk is just used for verification that you've actually bought the game. e.g, I bought a physical Black Ops 3 but it still ended up taking 50 gb. Fifa took 30gb. I bought GTA 5 digitally and that was 40gb

I think you're missing something though, if I buy a retail game it'll install from the disc and then you might have to download a patch of a few/several gigs meaning it's only the patch you're downloading from online but if you buy it digitally you have to download the entire thing (including any patch).
So whilst they may take up the same space with a disc it is less to download.
I can see the point in buying physical over digital though at this point in time, I've got good internet speeds at home but it's still a pain if you don't have something installed that you want to play, it's far quicker to put a disc in, have it quickly install from the disc and download a patch (despite the time it takes to get off the couch) as opposed to waiting for the entire game size to download.

You're comparing PS+ at the end of the PS3 era with PS+ at the start of the PS4 era.
Publishers won't let their games go on Plus for as long as they're still selling at retail, why would they?
As for what's been on there so far - trash? Really? All you're doing is portraying yourself as a stereotypically angry, entitled and irrational gamer by saying that. If you don't like it that much, don't renew your subscription. No-one's forcing you to keep it.

24 Feb 16#33
Agreed. The point is the length of time to download- and to be honest, even with an excellent broadband speed the network doesn't cope well with downloads, at least not in my experience. I have 100mb broadband and have 3/4mb speeds at times. Not what I was expecting when I purchased 1-2 PSN games at 30gb each!

Oh shut up. First of all you say i'm comparing PS3 at the end of its lifecycle and PS4 is still new but your forgetting back when it was only PS3 and Vita the multiplayer wasn't locked behind a paywall unlike PS4 where you have to pay just to play multiplayer meaning Sony have literally no incentive to ever give free AAA games again especially with the sales lead they have over Xbox.
Second of all i'm not an indie hater that you think i am as Resogun, Transistor, Bastion and Rocket league are all brilliant games but those games are a gem in a pile of indie **** and to finish it off funny how you say no one is forcing me subscribe but thats exactly what Sony are doing as either i pay to get access to multiplayer or i don't and they lock me out. Its literally blackmail because they know how gamers love online multiplayer and especially how so many games have strong focus on multiplayer on PS4 that if you don't subscribe your essentially locked out from half of the game.

24 Feb 16#43
Bought this last time it was in the sale at £11.49 (as you don't tend to see the PS3 version reduced, or on sale anywhere). Still haven't played it after 4 months, but at least as a digital copy, it can't keep the physical copies of LBP1 and LBP2 (both unplayed) company on the shelf.

Great price for this, very charming game and a lot of fun to play. For anyone concerned about PS Plus... it will show up on there eventually, it's pretty much guaranteed. However, it might not show up on there for another year or so. Sony are quite content with putting smaller titles on PS Plus atm and it's still doing well so they're not likely in any real rush to put it on there. This game also goes on sale every few months, there's nothing unusual about a deal for it.
Even if it does though, you wouldn't have wasted your money, you get quite a lot in there and unlike plus, it's not a rental so you get to keep it even if you let PS Plus expire.

Those were on the PS3 and most people either who moved over from 360 to PS4 didn't want to buy a PS3 or people who sold or traded their PS3s years ago or even PS3 and PS4 owners who don't want to switch their PS3s on anymore so the PS3 offerings offer zero value to those people. The offerings on Xbox One are offerings you can play on that console especially with backward compat they can play 4 games on one system.
