The next batch of Lidl veg offers from 31st March for one week.
Little gem lettuce - twin pack
Celery - each
Aubergines - each
Cherry tomatoes - 250g (fruit I suppose?)
All at 39p. Not the best, especially with the Morrison's, Asda and Aldi offers about. Still cheap, but we've been spoilt of late! Gives an alternative though.
Meat and fish offers, with up to 30% off, include:
on their website it now says 25p each I paid 29p 2 days ago

We'd go, attracted by the half price offers, and come back with a full shop. I agree that Saturday mornings were/are a zoo at Lidl - both in the shop and in the car park! At our local store, they started to do a better job of increasing the stock available, including holding some back for Sunday, so it became less of a necessity to get there early on Saturday.

We are visiting less since Lidl stopped the weekend half price deals. I can't help thinking that was a mistake on their part.

The positive is I'd imagine, is that it's fairer for those customers who couldn't get to Lidl early on a Saturday or Sunday. There used to be queues for the more popular items (chickens etc), with customers buying the full allocated six allowance and little else, if anything. I've personally visited a Lidl store on a Saturday morning, just after 9am, and the main popular half price meat offer had sold out! Lots of complaints form irate customers and I've no doubt this has been considered in this change.
Will it ever return?

i have been a regular lidl shopper since 2000,lol those were the days when you could go into the shop at peak times of the day and they would barely be more than 12 customers in the shop heh heh.anyhow i have always found the fruit and veg to be of good quality, and these deals are awesome,no excuse for not eating healthy now.heat added.

For what you can purchase (healthily) for the price of a packet of crisps is pretty amazing at this time.
Some good beer offers on also though. :stuck_out_tongue:

They aren't the best of offers in the current climate, but aren't bad offers.
Not cold..........................yet.
I'm not visiting as much since they stopped the weekend half price offers. But, Morrison's seem to be fighting back, along with Asda.
Still, let the price wars continue.
