I think that is unnecessarily abusive. They clearly do understand the concept of paying less and getting less - they said 90% of spec for 40% of price. You are saying you are happy to pay 100% of the price for 100% of the spec - thats fair enough its your choice and money - you don't need to justify it, or insult people that take a different approach.

I found the offer using a laptop not a smartphone, for some reason the promotion doesn't show on the smartphone browser.
Yes, however the cost is 535 delivered with the free headphones and you just get a £30 friends voucher. Amazon is £499.99 for the phone with the headphones. Far better deal if you ask me.

It is but no reviews of the handset yet is there? If this goes anything like the last LG G4 Smartphone it'll be half that price in six months.
It does look very interesting and I might just bite as I at least have a few weeks to cancel the order. It if had stock Android it would be very, very interesting...

I agree, this is the better deal of the two, that's why I used the word 'kinda'. There also there appears to be a silver option from that retailer, although they are currently awaiting confirmation of stock but may appeal to some buyers.

I've got an S6 I wouldn't get a cheaper phone, any of those chinese ones, it's simply the best phone for me of the last year, I've tried an S7 Edge and believe me if I could justify it I'd get the S7. You get what you pay for, however I get phones on contracts for 2 years. I use phones everyday in work have access to many different ones, if you're happy with paying less for less then that's how it should work and does. If you don't understand why a phone is £500+ that's your problem.
You can make the same argument for cars, why get a Ford Mondeo instead of a BMW Series 3, the Mondeo is excellent and cheaper does what the BMW Series 3 does why pay more for the Series 3, exactly the same argument. You don't understand it so move on.
My phone has features and build quality that I want there's no other phone except the 2016 flagships that are better than it.
If you can afford to wait then Android phones get significantly cheaper later in the year, so this phone will be £300-£350 in 6 months time and so will the S7, although the S7 is likely to sell a lot more units than the S6.

PS Voted hot as it's the best deal for this phone ATM but like an earlier poster spending 500 smackeroos on a mobile is madness imo. (you could get a 50 inch 4k TV with 6 year warranty and still have 50 quid left over!)

Yes, I expect better of you fishmaster, especially as we're fellow petrolheads with many previously positive exchanges on HUKD. Maybe you got out of bed the wrong side.
I'll put my point another way. I know a lot of people with top end phones - all they do is use it for media, what's app, email and a few other things. I would love a Ferrari, but if I had one and only drove it to the supermarket, you wouldn't need to be too astute to deem it a bit over specced.
Personally, having had a Samsung phone (Note 2), I hate the nasty TocuhWizz overlay. I think it's just awful.
Have a nice weekend fishie.

You might think it is crazy to spend £500 on a phone but that DOES NOT mean it is crazy to spend £500 on a phone. Different people have different uses but if you are constantly glued to your phone and replacing it every two years then you are going to get a lot of usage out of it. If you take a lot of photos then there can be a lot of value in getting a phone with a great camera and more generally a flagship phone can provide smoother snappier performance even if you just do a lot of mundane things and give a more pleasant experience. So again if it is a device you use a lot then there can be value in putting money into something that will give you the best user experience.
It's not for me or you to decide as to what is a sensible use of money for someone else when it comes to a phone. Just because you or I don't think something is worth it doesn't mean it wouldn't be worth it to someone else.

£500 even without headphones is still a good price and something I would pay. Just waiting for reviews before I pre-order.
Also it won't be half price in 6 months. Maybe £350 if you are lucky but £250, no chance.
I just want to see how G5 measures up against 6P as both same £500 price at the moment.
And have to admit that the Xiaomi Mi5 does interest me. Average camera yes but it does everything else pretty damn well.

I'll be passing on this for a few reasons:
Same sensor as the G4 so doubt the camera will match the S7. Still a good sensor though
Not a fan of the look
LG's skin is worse than Touchwiz in my opinion
Most importantly, there aren't any user reviews of this and I never like to be a first buyer of a phone. There is ALWAYS issues with the first batch of phones. whether it's hardware issues or software bugs that need to be ironed out.
Still, this deal is HOT for those that want this.

Crazy. Assuming you know about release dates etc. and embargoes. It is not unusual for reviews to appear before a device is released. Even if it is not a full review, a detailed 'hands-on' often appears.

Some one mentioned they thought I was abusive, I'm sorry if that's how I came across. Even friends disagree at times. I mean nothing by it. I make no excuse for myself except I'm bipolar and drink too much at times  I was probably in work when I made the comment and maybe the environment wasn't conducive to conducting myself properly. I apologise if I caused any offence. I can understand that £500+ is a lot for a phone, and many people don't use the capacity of it. I liken it to buying a Ferrari and using it to do the school run or shopping, there is a place in this world for £500+ phones and they do have quality/features above the rest of the pack but I agree many people for their workload wouldn't make use of a £500 phone.
Regarding Touchwiz, yes I wish I had stock, as I can do anything with stock ROM, however in defence of Samsung, Touchwiz has been massively slimmed down since the S6, so it's not so much of a burden. The main issue for me with the S6 and S7 is the S6 was Exynos only and the UK S7 is Exynos which means you're at the mercy of Samsung releases new OS updates and they soon give up on a phone. I'd definitely go Nexus or Motorola to get the stock experience but the hardware isn't quite there for me in those phones. I have been sensible and not sold my S6 and bought an S7, my next phone purchase will be in 2017 now. Talking of 2017 I look forward to the demise of Windows Vista, will have a few drinks that day for sure
