Well post a deal we can all take part in on Lego instead of always saying you've done better but its just to your benefit.

Why strange? Apart from building one myself, aren't I allowed to also buy one for the autistic lad next door since he's a massive fan and his 16th birthday is coming up? His mum has invited me round for countless coffees so it's the least I can do. The uniformed cretins on here really to make me worry about the human race. Isn't this forum about helping others rather than moaning about other people's comments?
For your information, I bought 3 Brick Banks just to build a massive one that looks fantastic.

Why don't you just go to a branch of JL and prove otherwise as all you have to do it ask? They are NEVER KNOWINGLY UNDERSOLD if you can be bothered to check. Trolls like you can try shooting me down as much as you like but, it's no skin off my nose if you're struggling to grow up! I'm not stupid... Why would I post details of the JL card that I use? I don't want to abuse the privilege which I would be. If you don't believe me then I frankly don't care in the slightest. I would complain to HKUD about you trolling me but, it's good to laugh sometimes.

Thanks OP. John Lewis in Reading managed to price match and I pick two up on Saturday. My husband has a JL staff card so I qualify for an extra discount ;-) I'd choose JL over TRU any day. I've not bought these for less than £85 since they were on Amazon in the early days before LEGO's crackdown. Note that retired modular buildings don't perform as well post-retired as previous sets. Buy to build NOT to invest!

Picked mine for up £87.49. had a couple of gold card vouchers they let me use together, and got my £20 in gift cards back. Will always find more lego to use them on.

I agree thats why I suggested people check locally before going down the flubit path. I managed to grab one from my local TRU so I was happy enough anyway. And there are many many Lego sets that I plan to get so it all works out really

Yes but to get vouchers you first have to spend £40 to get them, so as long as you are buying something you need. Plus this item is not RRP and not in stock for delivery now. And will surely be up to regular price when it gets in stock again.
Vouchers or VIP points etc are always misleading as you have to buy to get the savings for a later purchase. Sometimes things like an immediate discount at amazon etc is better.

Considering Lego is RRP in TRU im happy to have £20 off at TRU. Much better saving than £4 from flubit

To the people trying Flubit over just buying from toys r us id avoid it and get it from TRU as they are given two £10 gift cards when buying this. £10 for spending over £45 on lego I think and £10 for spending a certain amount in TRU... works out as another £20 off

That's really only of use if you intend buying something else though AND that something else is a) still in stock when the vouchers can be used (18th April start) and b) is an ok price at that time.
