The display in the Bramingham store also confirms this. There is a limit of one minifigure per transaction however.
The figure scans through at £4 though I didn't try buying it on its own as there was more than £15 worth of Lego I actually did want to buy.

Sainsburys Team Valley have a huge display of them, free with any £15 spend on lego.
The dispaly clealry states this
I wonder if you scan this first then like a £12 set if it would but and still discount it

In mine they are free when you spend 15 or more on Lego and one per person.
Just confirmed by a member of staff, they shouldn't scan on their own and are as a free gift only

In both stores I have seen them, they are marked up as £4 and don't say anything about being a free gift.

I bought some Lego in lego store. My other half thought I was odd for paying for the sets seperately but I now have 4 chicken men. £10 on ebay did you say?

Is this only available at sainsburys? I saw the egg decorating set in tesco but wasn't too keen on it. Off to my local tomorrow to try and nab one or two of these, thanks for the heads up!

Sainsburys also have an offer on to get a free chicken with every £15 spend on lego. I just bought 5 chickens for £16

whilst I appreciate this tells people where this is for sale, its not really a deal is it...isn't this THE price at Sainsbury's and therefore just RRP

i just see it as a good deal not havin to spend £15 on lego store like,if people just want to get him on his own for £4,or just a post to help lego minifigure collecters who want chicken man

I did. They had a long line of shelves with easter eggs and gifts but no Lego around there or nearby, and none on the toy aisle with the other Lego sets :disappointed:

None in Sainsbury's Purley Way (Croydon) today. Not sure if they're gone or if they are yet to be put out on display.
