This stuff is not authentic.. And does not taste like proper Indian tandoori flavours.. Try making it yourself with the fresh spices available from any large supermarket and you can't go wrong..

thats because its pakistan mix.
indian tandoori from indian fast food are bangladeshi / pakistan in the main.
indian mixes have different levels of the spices (not about the chilli) if you can stomach them they are fine too.

I mix mine with yoghurt and some lemon juice then coat the chicken. Put it in the fridge for about an hour and a half, then put it in the oven to cook.Hope this helps you :smiley:

we use tandoori spice at bbq's.
just mix with lemon juice and yoghurt, and then marinade some large chunks of chicken breast in the fridge for anything from 1 hour to overnight.
skewer, and put on the barbeque until the edges start to burn. utterly delicious served with homemade naan and salad mmmmmmmm

I use plain tandoori masala 2.5 kg bag I paid around tenner 6 months ago still got half left
just add lemon juice, 2 spoon garlic paste , yogurt, and some oil leave it in fridge for a day and bake covered 1 hour for chicken n 90 minutes to 2 hours for lamb chops
and it comes out delicious
u might have to bake or grill it 5 minutes uncovered
tandoori spice also great for baked potatoes

I have problems. Whenever I see a post like this it make me want to vote hot. Shan (correct spelling) may be better but it's not 59p. It's all subjective anyway, I prefer to make a marinade from Patak's tandoori paste but I can see this is a good deal, therefore it's hot.

I think they are changing the packaging and this is normally £1.18 a box. I use this to tandoori chicken or any meat. It comes out quite nice and tasty mmmmmmmm :laughing:
