8 years in Allied Bakeries in Gateshead makes me vote cold. REAL bread got just 4 ingredients : water ,flour, salt and yeast. If you using surdough starter, list of ingredients is even shorter: flour ,salt, water (surdough starter is a mixture of rye flour and water left for natural yeast to grow). Do not believe in "dark" breads - its colour is artificial - thanks to maltone powder. Bake your own !

For anyone who can read there is a better alternative. Bake your own. Only three to five ingredients for a basic loaf depending on your recipe choice. Plus the sourdough bread I bake lasts almost a week.

Err!
in a morrissons in the last hour of the shop being open.
They clear the remaining that day cakes and bread.
Have brought 6 crusty rolls for that price plus many of their specialised bread.
Just means you have to take the effort to look.

Cheaper to get the normal 800g for 75p rather than two 400g for £1.

Awful taste. Get the Morrison's instore bakery bread reduced to 9p in the evening. Far better.

Subjective. Good deal if you want this bread. For anyone who is a regular shopper @ Asda can you let me know whether you can get the Morrisons bread thats mentioned above?
