rubbish, not sure how they do quote these specs but it is the equivalent of the karcher much lower models, still a good price anyway. I had one few years ago and no near at all to my very old top model karcher series k6

theo00 - this is absolutely NOT a wild goose chase. This product is available accross the UK at the advertised price and is in print in the latest flyer. I also received the email last week some time. Seen these in at least 4 local stores on the South Coast this weekend alone.

Karcher stuff is garbage. If you are buying top end Karcher then you should have bought Kranzle. German built, proper quality parts, not the cheap plastic junk karcher use which leak after a few uses. Kranzles last for 1000s hours, Karchers even their expensive ones last 50 hours. They can also run dry (not a good idea anyway). Kranzles aren't cheap but you wont use anything else afterwards.
Professionals use Kranzle. Cant get much better unless you go for custom made, which costs a huge amount. I have the K 1152 TST which is highly recommended. I rinse/snow foam my cars with it before two bucket method. Ive also used it to clean the driveway which took 6 hours to do properly (Karcher I had before was hopeless in comparison and would've taken weeks) and the Kranzle was constant and would've kept going for days - karcher would've packed up in that time.

I have a karcher that must be 8+ yes old always seems to work. Maybe the older ones were better?

I read so much about Karcher being junk and still fail to believe it. My cheap, K2 lasted well over a few hundred hours and only left me when I bought a K5.
Biggest tip for anyone, run the pump a few seconds after the feed is disconnected. It stops water freezing in the pumps, where everyone goes wrong.
I don't doubt better exists but as always for a higher price.

Rubbish.
Karcher higher machines are excellent quality.
Your are confusing the higher end with the K2 which is as you describe.

correct, but wondering if the new machines are build with the same type of fan (very cheap way to build it), it is made of plastic on my series 6 and it failed after only about 4 years (now 10 years old). I noticed the change in sound but I was not aware of it and what it caused it until I had to change the starter 2 year ago, only spent £15 for both, was easy to change (for me). So, yes, they are durable also putting in account that the motor did not have any cooling in action at all for many years.

Had two Karchers (admittedly the more expensive ones) over the last 20 years. Latest one is at least 10+ yrs old K5 still going strong. Used every week to wash the cars with a snow foam lance etc. Always been impressed by the quality of the machine and longevity! I wouldn't hesitate to get another one!

For around £80 you'd do worse than get the Nilfisk C110
Can be had slightly cheaper (£69.99 @ Amazon) but the above link includes spray kit and patio cleaner.
You will be lucky to find a similar performing Karcher for the same price.

lol I've had a Karcher. Lasted light use for 15 years but it was rubbish. Leaked like mad despite running it after use. Older ones are supposed to be better. New ones are terrible. You should try a Kanzle. Like comparing a top end BMW, Audi or Merc to Trabant

Kranzle come at a price beyond what the average DIYer is likely to fork out though.

two bought! (one for a mate), heat added, surprised it is not crazy hot by now. I was searching for a karcher deal for a month, with 145bar pressure and home kit included its burning hot. Also for car washing you can get this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DS315BE, better than karcher ones
