I agree entirely with people stating this is a pointless argument.
I really had no intension of getting drawn into anything. I merely sougt to give my opinion on something I found to be in bad taste, and I made it clear it was 'my' opinion.
My follow up comments were mainly in response to people attacking me... suggesting I am 50+, single, work nights with 3 cats???? and that I am using my negative personal experiences with alcohol in forming my opinion and that I must have a boring life.
I have noticed that several comments on the thread have since been removed.
I attacked no-one in my comments and based my opinion on the photograph alone.
I showed respect to the other thread users in not getting personal about their opinions, and I made no judgement on the kind of people they were.
Maybe by casting me as some prudish, feminist crazy cat lady makes it easier for some of the posters to stand by their opinions, but in reality it just supports everything I thought about them but had the decency not to say.
I find it sad that people could not show me the same respect, but then reading some of the comments on the thread, maybe that is the real underlying issue.
